400 Bad Request invalid_grant

['Amol Kawale' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum]

Hello Team,

We try to execute get keyword suggestion API & locations API in google ads 
but we getting the following issues:

*Fatal error*: Uncaught GuzzleHttp\Exception\ClientException: Client error: 
`POST https://oauth2.googleapis.com/token` resulted in a `400 Bad Request` 
response: { "error": "invalid_grant", "error_description": "Token has been 
expired or revoked." } 

I tried to generate refresh token as well but it giving me error as follows:

Pls help to fix me.

How I can get customer account suspended?

['Amol Kawale' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum]

Hello Team,

I was searching API to fetch customer account status whether Enabled or 
Suspended. But didn't found anything yet. Whenever I use this API Get 
Account Information 

 it 
returns user status Cancel, Enabled but does not return the status 
'Suspended'. I have 2 users suspended. But unable to retrieve it. 

Pls let me know how I can retrieve the user account status.

How I can update campaign data after published campaigns?

Hello team,

I have checked documentation but didn't find any info to update campaign & 
ad data for published campaigns. The scenario is like this - The user 
submitted a campaign but later on his mind changed & he wanted to update 
particular info from campaigns such as location or budget start end date, 
etc... 

Please let me know if there is any Google ad API in PHP to update campaign 
data & responsive search ads & Display ad data using API.

Thanks for your Feedback on our thread.

We are using google ad account i.e. manager(1004010941) & email also proper 
associated with that account to create Campaign has API access & refresh 
token as well.

Google Payments center (pay.google.com) also showing payment profile. You 
can check this screenshot https://prnt.sc/K41fFhm01O9a

Payment profile can be shared across google product. & hence we trying to 
link that payment profile to new sub accounts but through API its not 
working though manually it working from Google ad Web UI.

Pls help to fix. Your help is highly appreciated.

because manually from web UI bill profile can be setup for sub account.

After token approval our development stuck at this point. Pls help
to resolve this issue soon.

Thank you for reply!

Yes from web UI (https://ads.google.com/) whenever we creating new sub 
account & try to link that user to payment profile ID 2905-5534-6762  its 
working. But from PHP API whenever we creating new sub account under 
manager account(1004010941), payment profile can't be link to it. Its 
throwing error as follows:

Request & response I already posted last time.

In our system, we have to create sub account as per customer approaching to 
our system, then create sub account for them under manage then assign 
billing profile ID & then they can create/publish campaigns etc...

Pls help to fix this issue. We are stuck at this point after our developer 
token approved & got basic access level for API. 

Your help is highly appreciated!!!

I'm also facing same issue. I'm creating new sub account under approved 
manager account  (MCC ID) 1004010941 via google ads PHP V8 API's. Getting 
similar error as below:
Request with ID 'GG2yO7oKCMa7Fw9ZNDu9kQ' has failed.
Google Ads failure details:
billing_setup_error: The customer does not have permission to 
signup for billing or does not have permission to use a given payments 
profile ID.

Pls help me to fix it. Any help is highly appreciated!

Thanks Ernie for reply. 

I created responsive search ad correctly. But now I have to create display 
ad same way same api. So whenever I doing changes into api while creating 
display ad, it not working if am changing  AdvertisingChannelType channel 
type. Pls help me to fix issue how i can create display ad same as search 
ad api.

THanks for reply Jinky. But am not modifying campaign type. I want to 
create Display ad & it not working after set 
"AdvertisingChannelType::DISPLAY" that is my conern. Search ad can be 
created proper. But when am addingAdvertisingChannelType::DISPLAY while 
display ad creation, it not working. Pls let me know what thing I need to 
change to create responsive display ad correctly.

Hi Team,

I'm creating* google responsive display ad v8 php*. Bidding strategy can be 
set 2 ways either manual CPC & Maximize conversions(Auto bid strategy). 

$campaign = new Campaign([

1. I have set manual bid using *'manual_cpc' => new ManualCpc()* this. but 
I can't set automatic bid (Maximize convesions). Pls let me know how I can 
implement automatic bid strategy. 
After creating campaign from google web UI following bidding strategy 
displayed:

But when I tring to remove 'manual_cpc' & replace 'enhanced_cpc' => new 
EnhancedCpc(), its giving error even for MaximizeConversionValue().

2. Also pls let me know AdvertisingChannelType::*SEARCH. *I have to update 
for *DISPLAY. *Let me know How i can change search campaign for Display 
because in campaign list its showing Search type not display.

App install ios conversion tracking

Hello Guys,

I'm using Google ads v8 php library to implement APP install. Can you pls 
let me know how to implement or handle ios conversion while creating app 
install through ads api. After ad submit whenever we check into google web 
UI, it shows convesion tracking not set.

set Conversion action for mobile APp

I want to create conversion action for mobile app(*android & ios both*). 
Can you pls let me know how to pass *app id* into API.

not described how to set app id to whom this conversion action going to 
relate.

Can't set Maximize conversion bidding strategy

Hi,

I'm using Google ads V8 PHP API for responsive display ad & App promotion 
(install only). If am setting any target cost then its working for both. 
But if i want to set default "Maximize conversion" strategy, its not 
working. As in google ads web UI, if any cost not set then it apply 
Maximize conversion strategy. Same thing am also trying through php API. 
But it not working. Can you pls help me to resolve this.

Thanks for suggestion. 

1. It working if I set 'Shop now' or 'Learn more', etc words in call to 
action text. But Google Ads Web UI shows Automatic also as 1st option. How 
it can work through ads PHp API?

2. I have to set call to action text for 2 languages English & Arabic so 
Should I add 2 times 'call_to_action_text' => 'Shop Now' & 
'call_to_action_text' =>  تسوق الآن
or is there any other way to pass both values?

3. In Responsive Display Ad, there are 2 more optional parameters as :
'price_prefix' => 'as low as', 'promo_text' => 'Free shipping!'
I tried them to pass API but it doesn't reflected after display ad created 
at Google ads web UI.

Google responsive search ad - Get headline suggestions via API as like Google UI

Hi Team,

I'm using Google Ads V8 PHP APIs. While creating responsive search ad, 
Google web UI has feature "Headline Suggestions", & other criteria's for Ad 
strength like add keywords, unique headline, descriptions, etc..

Is there any API available for Asset progress & Ad strength? Or let's know 
logic so that we can implement.

Responsive display ad - Call to action text

Hi team,

I'm using Google ads v8 php API. We have to set language of "call to action 
text" button to Arabic. But API not has any option to set language. Only 
option for "call_to_action_text". Pls let's know how we can set language to 
Arabic only.

Also call_to_action_text has different options starts with "Automatic". How 
to set that Automatic option value from php API. If am passing Automatic, 
API not working throwing error  {"adError":"INVALID_CALL_TO_ACTION_TEXT"} 
but other option such as 'SHop now', 'learn more, etc.. working fine.

Pls help to fix both these issues. Your help is highly appreciated.

Smart Display ad not working

While executing "AddSmartDisplayAd.php", am getting following error:

Google Ads failure details:
operation_access_denied_error: Unauthorized CREATE operation in 
invoking a service's mutate method.
bidding_error: Conversion tracking is not enabled for the campaign

v8 api not working after SSL enabled on our server

SSL activated all api not working & it not showing any response or error

 As per your last message we need to change manager account id with 
login-customer-id field but how for each user who want to link his account 
to our manager account, *during acceptInvitation()*  *how we can change 
config file setting for each user run time for each customer.* later on 
again we need to revert it for our manager account. Pls guide us. Your help 
is highly appreciated.

I'm using Google Ads Php V8 library. In *LinkManagerToClient *API, 
createInvitation() 
& getManagerLinkResourceName() both functions work proper but 
*acceptInvitation()* function not working. I'm getting following error -

authorization_error : User doesn't have permission to access customer. 
Note: If you're accessing a client customer, the manager's customer id must 
be set in the 'login-customer-id' header. See

Pls help me to fix it. I want to automate link process so that customer 
manually no need to accept after link by manager. API will handle it.

Thanks for reply but our requirement is slight different. 

User comes to our system & choose Google login for campaigns management. 
Then we are authenticating user with Oauth2 php JavaScript library. In 
response we can get email, profile image but how to get users Google 
Ads account ex. customer ID. User has given access to his ads account to 
manage campaigns through Oauth2 login as well. 

Pls help to get ads account details after scope allowed through APP.

Hi Matt,

User will come on my site & will select his email. Then using OAUTH2 
javascript library user will do login to his gmail. We can retrieve email, 
profile but cant his google ads customer id though he given permission to 
access his account in oauth2.

another case if user doesn't have gmail then how to tackle situation.

system to their Google ads account & allow us to access their ads account 
details like customer ID, campaign, etc... We can get his email, name But 
I'm not getting anything how to get his 10 digit customer ID using any api 
in php or JavaScript.

Hello,

While calling LinkManagerToClient API every time am getting following error:

*Google Ads failure details:manager_link_error : The manager and client 
have incompatible account types.*

1. I tried to link another user account to the my test manager account 
2. I tried to link another test manger as well...

But every time am getting above error message - manager & client 
incompatible account types...

Pls help to resolve issue.

Fetch customer Id using email & Create new Google Ads Manager account

Hello,

I'm using *Google Ads API PHP* library in my system. But I didn't found 
following 2 API's in provided API list here 
https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/docs/account-management/create-account
:
1. API to find out whether user has *already exist* Google Ads account 
using *email*? If found then returns his 10 digit customer ID.
2. If user Google Ads account *not found* then* create new Google Ads 
account (manager account on behalf of customer through our PHP script)*. So 
that after creating, I can link it under my manager account.

I have seen same process on few sites. Whenever user visits system, he 
entering his email address, name, etc.. then script searches for his 
existing Google Ads account if found return customer id or some data & auto 
logged-in to system otherwise creates new Google Ads manager account for 
him.

Please let me know any API or solution for these 2 cases.
