Local Services Campaign name

2022-04-06 Thread Francis Moore
Hi there!

I'm using the campaign view to pull some metrics from the API. The new
local services campaigns have a name field that look like this:

LocalServicesCampaign:SystemGenerated:

Is there any way to identify these campaigns in a more user friendly way?

Thank you, Francis

Getting report totals in new Google Ads API

2018-12-12 Thread Francis Moore
Hi all,

I'm looking for a way to get the totals for the metrics of a report in the
Google Ads Beta API. It is available in the current AdWords API with the
CSV format, but not with the XML format.

In the Google Ads API, it does not look to be available in the response,
since all we get is an array of GoogleAdsRow
https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/reference/rpc/google.ads.googleads.v0.services#google.ads.googleads.v0.services.SearchGoogleAdsResponse

I could of course just sum up the values, but many metrics just can't
summed up like that, for example Search Impression Share.

Any idea? Thanks!

Getting the total of Assisted Conversions for an account with the API

2018-08-01 Thread Francis Moore
Hello AdWords developers!

I'm looking for a way to get the total of click assisted conversions and
impression assisted conversions at the account level, as shown in the
AdWords UI screenshot I joined.

I know how to get these at the campaign level:
https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/appendix/reports/all-reports#clickassistedconversions
https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/appendix/reports/all-reports#impressionassistedconversions

But they don't seem to be available at the account level. I could just sum
up the values for all the campaigns, but it would not be accurate because a
single conversion might have been assisted by many campaigns.

Any idea?

Thanks, Francis
