a lot of UNEXPECTED_INTERNAL_API_ERROR
Hello there, We're getting a lot of UNEXPECTED_INTERNAL_API_ERROR latey. We're using Traffic estimator, no sandbox, and things used to work perfectly before... My question is, besides what is happening, is, do we pay for all these failed calls? keyword categories problem
Hi! We have queried quite a lot of keywords to get their categories from the AdWords API and we are really disappointed! One problem I see is that keywords, randomly longtail and "short" tail have or have no categories. Example: "autovermietung berlin" has categories but "berlin" or "autovermietung" do not. These queries do cost, and to see we got answers only for around 16% of our queries is very disappointing. What is the problem, did we do somethign wrong? if there is no data availabale (nulls) or the keyword does not exist
Hi Eric, Where asking information on a certain keyword, if there is no data availabale (nulls) or the keyword is not indexed/doesn't exist in your database, upon asking STATS on it, do we still pay for this query? (most probbaly yes, but it's worth asking information from the source still :-) Greetings, Irio -- =~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~ Also find us on our blog and discussion group: http://adwordsapi.blogspot.com http://groups.google.com/group/adwords-api =~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "AdWords API Forum" group. checking if the new monthly data is there
Hi there, Does anyone know, is there another way to check if/when the new monthly data is there, besides looking at a word's monthly trend month number? the costs to get the average CPC for one keyword/weird units bill
Hi, what is the cost to get the average cpc for one keyword? The bill we have and the costs we supposed from your rate sheet just do not match.,, We used Traffic Estimator for more than 300.000 keywords and that should be 15 units per call * 300.000 = 4.500.000 but the bill we got is for 3.300.000 units. how to get more than one category for a keyword
Hi all, I am using the API to get categories for some keywords, here is a piece of the Java code: selector.setRequestedAttributeTypes(new AttributeType[] {AttributeType.KEYWORD, AttributeType.AVERAGE_TARGETED_MONTHLY_SEARCHES, AttributeType.TARGETED_MONTHLY_SEARCHES, AttributeType.KEYWORD_CATEGORY, AttributeType.COMPETITION}); However I can see only one category at the moment - can one not get more than one category for a single keyword? I am new to this, maybe I just missed something somewhere... Japanese keywords in German language+country search, KeywordTool
Hi there, When logged in AdWords and using the Keyword Tool, when I set the settings for country Germany, language German, and choose a certain keyword category without providing a keyword seed, I also get Japanese keywords. If I uncheck "Miscellaneous terms" they disappear. Still, it shouldn't really happen, as there is not a significant Japanese minority in Germany. Is there another way of avoiding this? Does this happen to others? It kind of looks like a bug.. Re: No results on API, thousands on keyword tool
I don't know about API because I have not worked with it, but with all the rest of search volume tools. But what i know is that you cannot book brand names. Of course though a brand name has volume and maybe even that you reach with it a website non-brand related (e.g. newpapers writing about the brand). You can look into search volumes from so many Google tools: the AdWords KeywordTool, logged and non logged in, the search based tool, ratios of search volume in Trends/Insights. Re: No results on API, thousands on keyword tool
Hi, My guess is because it is brand name... and you cannot book in a campaign brand names afaik.
