Empty response from click_view in google ads api
Hi, I am using google Ads API to fetch the gclid associated with campaign name and campaign id. For this I have used the following query : SELECT click_view.gclid FROM click_view WHERE segments.date DURING YESTERDAY. In the API response I am getting an empty array. This is only for the click_view data. If I only get the campaign name from campaign table, the data is returned. number of events on dashboard doesn't match
Hi, I am sending events to google ads via Google Ads API (Python) on a cron schedule of every 24 hours. *The number of events sent by the API and that reflected on dashboard doesn't match.* *there are much lesser events on dashboard.* The API gives a response like:- *"Uploaded conversion that occurred at {uploaded_click_conversion.conversion_date_time} from Google Click ID {uploaded_click_conversion.gclid} to {uploaded_click_conversion.conversion_action}"* Sometimes conversion_date_time and gelid are empty in this response I am assuming those are failed events, and hence not counting them in successfully sent events. Does Google Adwords have region specific load balancing or traffic rerouting implemented?

Re: v201607 CustomerService - Sometimes returning NULL and sometimes NOT ADS USER
Thanks for the suggestion. But wanted to ask if there is something wrong in our implementation: 1. We call get customer service's get customer method to get the customer details who has logged in. 2. If the customer is MCC, we get managed accounts under that customer using the managed customer service (by selecting predicate that none of the accounts returned can manage other accounts) 3. if the customer is not MCC, then we just return the details of that customer. Do you think there is any caveat in this approach? The negative conditions in step 1 are: 1. The customer returned can be null (in case user has signed up for google ad words but has not completed sign up process) *2. Multiple customer entries are returned (is this possible??)* We dont' see any negative conditions in step 2 or 3. In the example that you have shared, the complete hierarchy is shared, an MCC can managed C1 and C2. C2 can manage C3. So we will get the complete tree. Our implementation requires that for C1 MCC account, we show C1 and C3. On Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at 10:46:00 PM UTC-7, Peter Oliquino wrote: > > Hi Karan, > > Thanks for the information. v201607 CustomerService - Sometimes returning NULL and sometimes NOT ADS USER
Hi Folks, We are using v201607 Customer Service's get Customer method and we are not passing any customer id to it. For some google accounts, we are getting NOT ADS USER error while for some accounts we just get back NULL as response. For example - warren.zhang...@gmail.com gives NULL as response while roxytesting...@gmail.com returns NOT ADS USER error. Both Google accounts don't have association to google ad words account but the response from the getCustomer method is different. Can you kindly help us in understanding why is that? In addition to this, can you educate us in which scenarios we can get NULL in response from getCustomer method in 201607 Customer Service (customer id being pass is null)? CustomerService in v201607
For the MCC account, if i call CustomerService.getCustomers method without setting the customer id header, would i get the list of all customers that the admin account has access to? For the normal advertiser account, if i call CustomerService.getCustomers method without setting the customer id header, would i get only the advertiser's account detail? RESPONSE_SIZE_LIMIT_EXCEEDED : Maximum number of objects in google ad words (Location targets and ad extensions)
There was a similar question asked and answered in 2012. Just want to make sure that the following limits still exist as we have started getting RESPONSE_SIZE_LIMIT_EXCEEDED error. We have implemented proper paging of 10,000 entities per page but I believe now we are hitting limit of 150,000 per request. We are getting this issue with location targets (campaign criterion service) and ad extensions. If following limits still exist, we can start sending only 100 campaign ids in the request so that we never reach 150K limit. But want someone from Google to confirm them! These are the limits for an AdWords account: - 10,000 campaigns (includes active and paused campaigns) - 20,000 ad groups per campaign - 10,000 keywords per ad group - 300 display ads per ad group (includes image ads) - 4 million active or paused ads per account - 5 million keywords per account - 10,000 location targets (targeted and excluded) per campaign, including up to 500 proximity targets per campaign - 100,000 active ad extensions per account - 1.3 million references to ad extensions per account* -- -- =~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~ Also find us on our blog and Google+: https://googleadsdeveloper.blogspot.com/ https://plus.google.com/+GoogleAdsDevelopers/posts =~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "AdWords API Forum" group. Is there a limit on the number of records in a page on the Adwords SOAP API?
We recently faced an issue where we were only able to pull 10K campaign level targets from the SOAP API exposed via CampaignCriterionService. By simply calling the get method and passing selector object we are only able to get 10k entries in the Campaign Criterion Page object. However, this behavior does not seem consistent in other APIs exposed like CampaignFeedService where in one page we are getting more than 10K entries. Can you please guide us if there are limits implemented on number of entries in a page and if so, what is that limit? Re: Acces denied for oauth2 request while fetching token
I am using installed application type in Oauth2 now to make it work. Try using it https://developers.google.com/accounts/docs/OAuth2InstalledApp On Monday, 3 March 2014 12:50:07 UTC+5:30, karuna karan wrote: > > In google adwords, ClienLogin method is deprecated.
