Google Ads API: Customer Match With Attributes Job Type

2024-03-04 Thread 'Manuel Lopes' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hello,

I'm trying to use the "CUSTOMER_MATCH_WITH_ATTRIBUTES" job type (see here
),

to update info on a Audience List previously uploaded to Google Ads.

My request is running for a while, and when I re-check it after a few
hours, it returns "Success" status.

However, I'm not able to verify in the Google Ads UI, if the information
was correctly uploaded or not.

How can I verify this in the Google Ads UI (or via API), and be sure that
the Attributes I'm passing to my users were correctly assigned?

For reference, I'm passing lifetime value for all users, which is the
"LifetimeValueMicros" parameter (see here

).

Thanks in advance,

Adding Audience User List and checking new users

2019-12-17 Thread Manuel Lopes
Hello,

I have been using through the API the MutateMembers operations to add
members to a userlist in Adwords. However, the only feedback that I get
upon adding new members is " User list with name "###" and ID
"#" was added. "

However, I would like to check for some individual members if their data is
being inserted correctly. Is there any other way of getting feedback on
this? Can I check which members are in a given list at each moment? I
searched through the API Documentation but didn't find anything.

Thanks,

Manuel Lopes

Impression Share on Big Query's KW Performance Report Equivalent

2019-09-30 Thread Manuel Lopes
Hello,

I recently started the transfer process from Adwords to Bigquery.
Everything seems ok, and the mapping from Adwords API reports to BigQuery
tables is very clear on Google's help page (
https://cloud.google.com/bigquery-transfer/docs/adwords-transformation).

However, there is one (that I noticed) missing metric:

There is no way to get Impression Share by Device for a given KW. On the
API, through the Keyword Performance Report, it is very easy to do so.
However, in BigQuery,
the KeywordCrossDeviceStats table, does not allow to retrieve Impression
Share data by device.

Am I missing something, or is this supposed to be like that? If so, it
means that I have to get this data through the API, which defeats the point
of having the Adwords to BigQuery setup.

Thanks,

Manuel Lopes

Accented Characters on Keyword_Performance_Report

2018-10-18 Thread manuel . lopes
Hi,

I have an issue when I try to do a Keywords_Performance_Report, and on the
"where" clause, i choose an AdGroupName. In the past, the report returned
no results when the AdGroupName had accented characters. The solution, as
given in another post on this forum, was to URLencode() the AdGroupName
string. However, lately this solution has not been working, and even with
URLencode, the report returns no results.

Is there any solution for this? Have there been any updates to the API that
disallowed this solution to work?

Thanks in advance,

Manuel Lopes

Re: Querying the search query report for accented charaters

2018-10-18 Thread manuel . lopes
Hello Michael,

I did the same as Alex, and, for a long period of time, that solution
worked. However, today, even after encoding the request with URL encode, no
results are returned.

Were there any changes to the API that make this solution obsolete? Thanks

Manuel

I look forward to hearing more about this :). Note that I have not

 great

Adwords API for Auction Insights vs Google Studio

2018-09-13 Thread manuel . lopes
OPTIONS

Hi,

Since there is still no way to retrieve Auction Insights info from the API,
i found that you can use Data Studio for that purpose.

On Data Studio, when i build a report to retrieve Auction Insight - Domains
by Adgroup, I noticed 2 errors on the results:

1- When comparing with the results from regular AdWords (over the same time
interval), the Impression Share metric is not similar at all.

2- There are several competitors that show up in the Auction Insight -
Domain that have 100% IS. However, when i look up those same competitors in
Adwords i see that they show "<10%" IS, so this must probably be a bug on
Data Studio side.

Is there any way to solve this? Because Data Studio is very useful to get
Auction Insights info in bulk (which is not allowed in AdwordsAPI), however
the results are most definitely wrong.

Thanks.
