Re: Change in Google API Response

2022-05-01 Thread 'Matan Wilchek' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi,

why didn't you just say that you're releasing a new API version (v10.1) and
the problems are due to integration?

Thanks, Matan

Change in Google API Response

2022-04-28 Thread 'Matan Wilchek' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi,

I see a big change in google ads API response, in fields that used to be
Enums, and suddenly are a simple int.

For example, campaign.advertising_channel_type.name used to be Enum, and
now is an int,
while campaign.advertising_channel_sub_type is still an Enum.

Is this some kind of temporary bug, or is this a permanent change in
behaviour?

Thanks, Matan

Duplicate geotarget id for state and region

2021-08-18 Thread 'Matan Wilchek' via AdWords API and Google Ads API Forum
Hi,

I tried running a query from the state segment and a query from the region
segment, and I got that every state, has a region, with the same id.

For example, I get California as a state, with certain metrics, and I get
California as a region, with different metrics, but with the same id.

Can you please advise?

Thanks, Matan

Re: GoogleAds API Custom Audience

2021-04-13 Thread Matan Wilchek
Hi,

I couldn't reply through "reply to author" because that option is disabled
for me, but I already said, that the report is the view/table called
'custom_audience'

If you'll enable it for me, I will reply to author with the private details.

Thanks, Matan

Hi,

The ID's in the UI, and the ID's in 'ad_group_audience_view' are matched,
but not matched with the ID's in 'custom audience'.

Thanks, Matan

GoogleAds API Custom Audience

2021-04-11 Thread Matan Wilchek
Hi,

I'm pulling metrics for audiences via GoogleAds API, and trying to match
between the audience id in the table 'ad_group_audience_view' and between
the audience id in the table 'custom audience', so I can get the audience
name. I cannot do it, because it appears that the audience id for the
audience in the UI, is different from the one being pulled from 'custom
audiences' table.

Is there a way to match these 2 tables?

Thank you, Matan

Re: Placement ("Where my ad shows") with an ID via API

2021-03-01 Thread Matan Wilchek

Hi Anthony,

I used the group_placement_view

in Google Ads API, and I get the placements URL through it, but I cannot
get the placements ID.
The resource fields available in group_placement_view

 are:
display_name

placement

placement_type

resource_name

target_url

and no criterion id, as displayed in the UI. Is there a way to get the ID?

Thanks, Matan

Placement ("Where my ad shows") with an ID via API

2021-02-24 Thread Matan Wilchek
Hi,

I'm using GoogleAds API with the "detail_placement_view" to pull all the
placements that my ads are shown in. When I look in the UI, every placement
like this, also has a Criterion ID (sometimes very long, or a negative
number). However, I cannot get that Criterion ID through the API.

Only when I query through "campaign_criterion" or "ad_group_criterion", can
I get the Criterion ID of the placement, but that placement isn't "where
ads showed", its the excluded placement list.

Is there a way (preferably with GoogleAds, but also AdWords is ok) to query
the placement of "where ads showed" with its ID that is found in the UI?

Thanks, Matan
