Audience Targeting and Placement Report

2022-04-24 Thread Mike5577
Using REST.

Having zero results on detail_placement_view and group_placement_view with
fetching placements that are audience targets, such as "similar audiences".
Only returning keyword targeted and managed placements.

ad_group_audience_view returns the audience target, but does not return
metrics for placements.

Please steer me in the appropriate direction. Thank you.

Is there an ETA for the next version release?

2019-03-20 Thread Mike5577
Was going to upgrade versions with the new PHP client library since support
for 201806 is ending next month. Would seem that the latest version of
201809 will likely replaced soon. Thanks, trying to avoid multiple upgrades
which are time consuming.

Reports and Setting Negative Placements at the Account Level

2018-11-25 Thread Mike5577
Hi, the Shared Set and Account reports do not have account level negative
placements available, unless I am missing something. Any suggestions on
getting this report, as well as adding account level negative placements?
We are using the Smart Display placements, and account level placement
exclusions is the only way to block some traffic.

Re: Report from API different than {placement}

2017-08-01 Thread Mike5577
Hi Josh,

Having the full URL in real-time allows us to credit the conversion to that
URL. Otherwise everything goes to the domain, and there is no way to match
it in the URL_PERFORMANCE_REPORT, unless I'm missing something on that.

Managed placements return the full URL on the click, but automatic
placements or remarketing just gives the domain. These used to give the
full URL a few years ago.

Thanks again,

Mike

Re: Report from API different than {placement}

2017-07-31 Thread Mike5577
Hi Josh,

Thank you for the follow up, and my apologies for the late reply.

Getting data for individual URLs for each click would allow matching such
as https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=. This would allow very good
targeting of key pages if that info can be passed through the click. In
your suggestion, the report will show the URLs, however internally I would
just have youtube.com since that's all being passed on valuetrack.

Thanks, and looking forward to your reply.

AdWords API Getting Individual KW ID's

2009-11-23 Thread Mike5577
I am burning through many API units trying to fetch ID's using the
criterion service... I have several thousand words already in Adwords,
and when each one of them is clicked for the first time, it is added
in a local database that stores info about that word.

The issue is that there is no way to automatically insert the keyword
ID via passing URL parameters, and it must be fetched later as I
understand (using getCriteriaService or by reporting).

It would be nice to be able to get criteria by searching for keywords
instead of looping through an entire ad group to find a keyword.

I do not see an update to this on the new 2009 version either.

Google, if you are reading this, a fix on this would help nearly
everyone here, including server resources!
