Is it possible to request previews for extension feed item's image assets ?

2023-11-27 Thread 'Noémi Molnár' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi,
We are requesting the extension_feed_item.image_feed_item.image_asset and
we are running into issues because of the size of the returned images. Is
it possible to set the size of the images on the call or request a smaller
preview instead of the actual image. I have not found anything about it in
the documentation, but hopefully I have not looked at the right place.
Thank you in advance!

Re: Extension feed reporting

2022-07-29 Thread Noémi Molnár
Hi Peter,

Thank you for your quick reply. It does not seem to be a bug at the moment,
as I could get it to show more/different set/ of the asset extensions in
the Google Ads ui as well, after changing the filters. It looks more like a
preset limit, which makes the ui to show only 10-12 extensions at once. We
will certainly send the logs is if we get concerns about data.

Best regards,
Noemi

Re: Extension feed reporting

2022-07-29 Thread Noémi Molnár
Hi Aryeh,

Thank you for the information. Your suggestion is working perfectly for one
of the account's data I tried it with, but for an other account we receive
way more records through the API for these three endpoints (without
duplications) than the 'All(upgraded)' screen.

Do you know what could cause this behaviour. Should any filters be set when
requesting the data from the API ?

Best regards,
Noemi

Re: Extension feed reporting

2022-07-26 Thread Noémi Molnár
Hi Jinky,
Our team is also looking into showing the upgraded ad extensions, along
with related data. Thank you for the information you shared it is very
useful, but I have a few more things that I would like to clarify.
I would like to ask if any of resource types (either listed or not)
correspond to the following page:
https://ads.google.com/aw/adextensions/allupgraded . We would like to
retrieve the same data/information that is available in the ad extension
report in the ui.

The 'ad_group_ad_asset_view
'

resource group seems to be the one which returns the same set of asset id-s
that are in the All(upgraded) extension report. Is it indeed? If not, does
any of the reports listed by you return the exact same set of asset ids
that the 'https://ads.google.com/aw/adextensions/allupgraded' ? Will de
data match the report

Best regards,
Noemi

Google Ads API throws when geographic_view query contains "campaign.labels CONTAINS ANY ("customers/{{customer_id}}/labels/{{label_id}}")"

2021-12-16 Thread Noémi Molnár
The geographic_view requests fail when campaign.label is in the WHERE
clause.

Request details:
body: {
query: "SELECT campaign.labels,segments.geo_target_metro FROM
geographic_view WHERE campaign.labels CONTAINS ANY
("customers/{{customer_id}}/labels/{{label_id}}") AND segments.date >=
'2021-11-01' AND segments.date <= '2021-11-30'`,
},

Error details:
"errorCode": {
"requestError": "UNKNOWN"
},
"message": "The error code is not in this version.",
"trigger": {
 "stringValue": "A_campaign__CampaignAssociation.entity_id"

The same request without the 'campaign.labels CONTAINS ANY
("customers/{{customer_id}}/labels/{{label_id}}") ' works.

Could you please look into the issue!

Kind Regards,
Noemi

Re: The /customers:listAccessibleCustomers response is missing an account.

2021-07-26 Thread Noémi Molnár
Hi Yasar,

I did not find anything out of ordinary about the account (8183462864). It
is concerning thought that this account(8183462864) is returned through the
Adwords API and works when using it to fetch reporting statistics through
the old API, but it is in not known by the 'Ads system'.
Please help me to find out why the AdWords API knows, returns and handles
the account (8183462864), but not the Ads API.

We want to migrate from the AdWords API to the Ads API, but we needed to
put it on hold till we figure out why an account is missing from the Ads
API's response and if this can occur for our users.

We are less concerned about the draft account being returned, but it does
not seem to be by design based on this
response: https://groups.google.com/g/adwords-api/c/lAQHvUgZavk/m/vAfF4tXpAQAJ.
If it is by design, is there a way to filter out the accounts from this
response that will not work with the API request?

Kind regards,
Noemi

The /customers:listAccessibleCustomers response is missing an account.

2021-07-13 Thread Noémi Molnár
The adwords API (version: v201809) API's Customer service (namespace: mcm)
returns two customers:
4687386508 and 8183462864.

The ads API's (v7) /customers:listAccessibleCustomers endpoint also
returns two resourceNames 'customers/4687386508', 'customers/1102285442'.

According to the documentation (
https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/rest/design/resource-names)
the customer ids of the accounts are: 4687386508, 1102285442.

As you can see the first id matches in the two responses, but the second id
is different in the two responses.

When we try to use the `1102285442` customer id in the
`/customers/{customerId}/googleAds:searchStream` request we get the
following error as the response:

StatusCodeError: 403 - [{"error":{"code":403,"message":"The caller does not
have
permission","status":"PERMISSION_DENIED","details":[{"@type":"type.googleapis.com/google.ads.googleads.v7.errors.GoogleAdsFailure","errors":[{"errorCode":{"authorizationError":"CUSTOMER_NOT_ENABLED"},"message":"The

customer can't be used because it isn't enabled."}]}]}}]

The same request works as it is expected with the id: `4687386508`.
I also tried the same request with the id: `8183462864`
Response of the API was
`"errorCode\\\":{"authorizationError":"ACCESS_DENIED_FOR_ACCOUNT_TYPE"},"message":"The

customer (or login customer) isn't in Google Ads. It belongs to another ads
system.`

All of the request were made for the same authenticated user with the same
credentials.

Could you please help me with requesting the customer id and details.

The clicks on the user interface differs from the value in the API

2021-05-26 Thread Noémi Molnár
The following request returns a higher value than the interface with the
same settings (date range, filters, etc.):
 "body": "__fmt=CSV&__rdquery=SELECT CampaignId, CampaignName, Id,
Criteria, KeywordMatchType, Clicks FROM KEYWORDS_PERFORMANCE_REPORT WHERE
Impressions > 0 AND CampaignId IN [\"1712687432\"] DURING
20210101,20210331",
"url": "https://adwords.google.com/api/adwords/reportdownload/v201809";

For example the clicks value for 'Diseases of the Liver" & "liver failure"
is 1753 on the user interface and the sum of the values returned from the
API is 1826 (1753+73+0+0).

What can cause this difference?

google adwords AUDIENCE_PERFORMANCE_REPORT does not return data if Status IN ["PAUSED"]

2020-11-16 Thread Noémi Molnár
The following request does not return any audience data , although there
are paused audiences in the same audiences report on the user interface.

What could be the reason of it ?

Re: Fetching the customer_client.name for a customer

2019-04-04 Thread Noémi Molnár
Hi Anthony,

I use the Customer resource for returning the details for the customers,
but it only returns the data for the customers directly accessible by the
user authenticating the call, but the user authenticating the call, does
not seem to have the permission to return data for the AccessibleCustomers with
1 or higher 'level' value.

I tried this call:
https://googleads.googleapis.com/v1/customers/{customer_id}/googleAds:search?query=SELECT

customer.descriptive_name FROM customer with the scope:

Is it possible to fetch the descriptive_name for all of the customers
returned by the /customers:listAccessibleCustomers request for a specific
user, with the same credentials?

Fetching the customer_client.name for a customer

2019-04-02 Thread Noémi Molnár
I would like to return the id, currencyCode, timeZone, descriptiveName for
each customer_client for a customer. The customer_client resource group
returns the id, currencyCode, timeZone, but not the descriptiveName. I
tried to use request the descriptiveName for the customer_clients, but it
returned "USER_PERMISSION_DENIED" error.
We can fetch the name of the ManagedCustomerServices from the Adwords API
without any problem.

Is it possible to fetch the customer_client's descriptiveName for a
customer?

Re: Fetching all the available field and resource group names from Google Ads API

2019-02-14 Thread Noémi Molnár
Hi Luis,

What I would like to do request all the attributes of a resource group. For
example if I make the
https://googleads.googleapis.com/v0/googleAdsFields/ad_group request the
response includes the metrics, the segments and the resource groups with
which it is selectable, but not its own attributes like
ad_group.ad_rotation_mode.
I also would like to retrieve the list of all of the resource groups as
ad_group, campaign etc. I could not find any information about these in
this guide
.
Are these possible in the Google Ads API beta? If yes, please provide me
information about it.

Kind regards,
Noemi

Fetching all the available field and resource group names from Google Ads API

2019-02-14 Thread Noémi Molnár
Hi,

It is possible to fetch metadata about the resource groups and fields from
GoogleAdsFieldService, but is there a way to fetch the list of all the
available fields and/or resource groups using the google ads api?

Kind regards,
Noemi Molnar

Re: Fetching the list of accessible account from the Google Ads API without the gRPC

2019-02-13 Thread Noémi Molnár
Hi Luis,

I do not find the guide

clear
according to this request. Based on this guide
 I
would assume one of the following calls should work:
https://googleads.googleapis.com/v0/accessibleCustomers:list
or https://googleads.googleapis.com/v0/customers:list
These apparently do not work. Could you please point out where did I make
the mistake and what would be the right structure of the call?

Regards,
Noemi

Special characters in the WHERE clause in the AdWords API

2019-02-13 Thread Noémi Molnár
Hi,

The QueryError.INVALID_WHERE_CLAUSE is returned when there are special
characters, like '#', '-', '.' in the WHERE clause of the call to the
AdWords API, even is we encode or escape these characters. Is it the
excepted behaviour of the API, is there any way to use these characters in
the WHERE clause?

Kind regards,
Noemi Molnar

Fetching the list of accessible account from the Google Ads API without the gRPC

2019-02-13 Thread Noémi Molnár
Hi,

I would like to use CustomerService

.ListAccessibleCustomers

 to
fetch the resource names of all the accessible accounts by creating the
body of request as a JSON object, and sending it to the server using HTTP
1.1 . I could not find the right structure for this call. What would be the
right structure for it
Thank you in advance!

Kind regards,
Noemi Molnar
