Re: +10.000 adgroups in a campaign, API won't load any more adgroups

2016-06-21 Thread Pearl Jam

Hi Vishal,

yes I know that the adgroups "only" change theire status, but now you
should be able to upload new adgroups, until the limit of 2 adgroups
(active and paused) in one campaign is reached. And thats Hugos problem,
as I understand it.
But you should rename removed adgroups to avoid duplicate names, which is
not allowed.

Re: +10.000 adgroups in a campaign, API won't load any more adgroups

2016-06-20 Thread Pearl Jam

Hi,

in our experience it works. We delete old adgroups an upload new ones. Up
to 2 adgroups (active and paused) fits in one campaign, 60 fits in
an account.

Re: CRITERIA PERFORMANCE REPORT is empty

2014-11-21 Thread Pearl Jam
Hi,

we observe a similar behavior at KEYWORDS_PERFORMANCE_REPORT.

Our RequestFields are "AdGroupId", "Id","KeywordText","KeywordMatchType"
and "QualityScore" (no segmentation) and we set IncludeZeroImpressions to
FALSE.
Since October these reports are empty, but if we include the field
"Impressions" in our Request, everything worked fine.
It seems, that we now must include all Fields, that we filter on.

Ads in removed AdGroups

2014-11-11 Thread Pearl Jam

In the past we have noticed that even for Ads from deleted AdGroups a
policycheck was done.
That's why we startet to delete all Ads from deleted Adgroups.
Since the API version v201406 this is no longer possible.
Does this mean that Keywords and Ads in an removed Adgroup will not be
checked anymore?
Or do we have to remove all contained ads and keywords before removing the
Adgroup?

Thanks

Re: ERROR_GETTING_RESPONSE_FROM_BACKEND when including CampaignId in PLACEHOLDER_FEED_ITEM_REPORT

2014-05-23 Thread Pearl Jam

Unfortunately, I think there is no mappingInfo provided in the report. It
only shows FeedItems and in which Campaign or Adgroup it has Impressions or
otherwise stats. because an feedItem could be mapped to every campaign or
adgroup in your account, the
combination possibilities are too much if you ask with zeroImpressions.
also you can not limit the results by asking only for Active Adgroups or
Campaigns

therefore my next Question: where can FeedItem-Adgroup-Matchings be obtained?

One last thought : in the documentation of Placeholder Feed Item Report
for CampaignId/CampaignName/AdGroupId/AdGroupName/AdId Behavior should be
marked as Segment, not as Attribute

Hi,

we have the same problem.
We are using java-api and if we download a report for a certain account

But if we include CampaignId or CampaignName or AdGroupId or AdGroupName,
we get

Re: RateExceededError rateName=RATE_LIMIT

2014-04-11 Thread Pearl Jam

... what a meaningful answer! thanks!

we have seen these rateName too, and dont know for what it stands.

at AdWords API Rate Limits guide is written:
Rate name and why it matters?
In addition to understanding Rate Scope, it’s also IMPORTANT to understand
the type of Rate Limit that was exceeded.
...blabla...
Edge Cases

While the above Rate Names are more common, it’s important to keep in mind
there may be other types of rate limits that you can exceed. If you do
experience those issues, PLEASE LET US KNOW in the forum.

sorry, but sometimes it is annoying that just a link is specified, instead
of responding to the actual question

PolicyViolationError on updating AdParams

[PolicyViolationError.POLICY_ERROR @

PolicyViolationError.POLICY_ERROR @ operations[14].operand.criterion.text;
trigger:',',]

Our params looks like "12,34€". If we try again, in most cases it goes
right, but not anyway.

Aw: Re: Whats up with AdParamService???

2011-05-24 Thread Pearl Jam
Hi Eric,
thanks for reply!
Yes, AdParamService.get() returns the correct values.
I hope I don´t misunderstand, but here is the requestId of a request to a
single adgroup for settings of adparams:
requestId=0e200fdc5e7c2df442f1bb92fb18a59e
If you meant something else, please let me know.

We notice this strange behavior at four countries. Sometimes param1 is
displayed, sometimes param2. So we assume the correctness of our params. All
of our live-ads are affected.

Cheers!
