Hi there, I'm getting this issue too, after a very small amount of requests
while trying set destination URLs on keywords. Is this the same, known
issue, or something new?

Re: How do I modify two keywords in an ad group which only differ by match type

2013-08-15 Thread Philip Cox
Hi Danial,

Thanks for the reply. I'm double checking my numbers, and I'm not 100%
confident that it's not just a but in our import system (they multiple
keywords with the same id in the same adgroup.)

I'm currently waiting for standard access to be approved, and once it has
I'll rerun everything and let you know if this is actually an issue.

Thanks,
Phil

 Hello Philip,

What is the use case for having two keywords with the same text but
different match type leading to different dest URLs? Which one is expected
 to trigger for exact match?

I don't think this layout is supported on the product level.

If I include both keywords with id, adGroupId, matchType and
destinationUrl set, with the operator ADD, I get the
error DistinctError.DUPLICATE_ELEMENT. If I don't include matchType and
only include one of the keywords then both are updated to the same URL.

Is there a way to differentiate between the two when updating, or must
the destination URLs be the same?
