Re: Click Performance Report
Hi Josh, Thanks for the explanation. I want to know how the click is performed on the deleted ads? Those ads are deleted long back, and I believe it should not be returned when I download click performance report now...Let me know if I am wrong.. Regards, VijayRaj On Tuesday, 7 January 2014 02:55:08 UTC+5:30, Josh Radcliff (AdWords API Team) wrote: Hi, I took a look at the account and the clicks you mentioned were all for deleted ads. These ads were deleted due to edits of the destination URL. When you edit an ad, AdWords deletes the existing ad and creates a new ad with the modified attributes. You can actually see the clicks in question on the *Ads* tab of the AdWords UI if you change the filter drop-down to *All ads* instead of *All but deleted ads*. We're aware of the mismatch between ad IDs on the two reports and are looking into it. I'll post back here once I have more information. Re: API to get list of Pending Invitations
Hi Anash, In adwords account there is an option to invite other users as well. Is there is an api to get the Account Access Level for the authenticated user?? I tried using *ManagedCustomerService *and also* CustomerService *api but none of them tells whether the logged in user has a Standard access or Read-Only access or Administrator access. Re: OAuth - didn't see it mentioned so I thought I'd ask
Hi, I have been using Google Adwords API for sometime now but couldn't find any solution for the couple of questions ... 1) Is it possible to get the list of modified campaigns after a given date (without using download API) ? I searched in forums but was not able to find any solution and also tried setting DateRange selector but that didn't help either 2) How to get the currency of the Cost and Average CPC. Right now I am using *campaign.getCampaignStats().getAverageCpc().getMicroAmount()* Dividing this value to 100 gives the actual value, but the currency is still unknown ... Any help or pointers will be grateful:) TIA, VijayRaj On Monday, 13 August 2012 21:17:24 UTC+5:30, Kevin Winter wrote: Hi VijayRaj, I'm glad its working for you. Re: API usage costs
Hi Daniel, I want to get the list of all keywords and its other information like MaxCpc CpcBidSource, KeywordText, Cost, Clicks, Impressions etc...I am following the example given here http://code.google.com/p/google-api-adwords-java/source/browse/trunk/examples/v201109/GetAllAdGroupCriteria.java. While doing so, I found that it takes long time to get the response when there are say more than 10,000 keywords...Following this method doesn't seem to be cost effective either...Can you please let me know if there is any other alternative which is quicker and consume less api units?? Re: sandbox: getting ADD_OPERATION_NOT_PERMITTED with both/either clientEmail and clientId
Hi, I too faced this problem while working with v201109 using Java client library. It was working fine for v201101. I followed the three steps as said by you and created five sandbox customer accounts with emailIds like client_1+emailId, client_2+emailId However the clientIds returned for these accounts was 0 and when I try getting campaingn using this clientId, I get an error as * AuthorizationError.USER_PERMISSION_DENIED.* Can you please help me in getting the valid clientId for all these sandbox account.. Re: How to create sandbox account using Java Client
Hi Danial, I have created a sandbox account using the v201101 and have five clientEmail associated with it. I was able to use the adwords api by passing clientEmail to the AdWordsUser. But now i have migrated to v201109 and since it does not take clientEmail as the arguement, i have to pass the clientId along with it. Can u please tell me how to get clientId for these five emails associated with my sandbox account. I have gone through all the forums and still could not find any solution or code to get the clientId for these emails. I am working on Java client library. Any pointers regarding this will be helpful. Does it supports AuthSub Authentication? If not, is there any other way for authentication other than ClientLogin using Java? Re: OAuth - didn't see it mentioned so I thought I'd ask
Hi Kevin, I have been following adwords api blog for a while now and thus noticed that the updated versions of all the client libraries have been released...:) However i was unable to find any examples regarding the authentication using OAuth for the Java Client Library. I have the access token but i don't know how to use this token to call Adwords API so that I can get the information for that particular user. As in the case of Google Docs API we had something like... DocsService client = new DocsService http://code.google.com/apis/gdata/javadoc/com/google/gdata/client/docs/DocsService.html(yourCompany-YourAppName-v1); client.setOAuthCredentials http://code.google.com/apis/gdata/javadoc/com/google/gdata/client/GoogleService.html#setOAuthCredentials(com.google.gdata.client.authn.oauth.OAuthParameters,%20com.google.gdata.client.authn.oauth.OAuthSigner)(oauthParameters, new OAuthHmacSha1Signer http://code.google.com/apis/gdata/javadoc/com/google/gdata/client/authn/oauth/OAuthHmacSha1Signer.html()); It will really be helpful if you provide a sample code or any pointers for OAuth authentication using Java. Hi Kevin, Its great to hear that Google Adwords now support OAuth authentication. However after going through the blog i found that there is no example given for authentication using Java Client Library. It will be really helpful if you provide the code example using Java.
