Re: Get shared set only for non-manager accounts

2021-05-14 Thread 'Nazar Pryymak' via AdWords API and Google Ads API Forum

Hi,

I was expecting that customer_id in resource_name will be different ,
unfortunately they have same value. For example, account 7573888413 have 36
shared sets and in *all* 36 shared sets *customer_id* is 2215674733 .
Could you look to it ?

Thanks

Nazar

Get shared set only for non-manager accounts

2021-05-13 Thread 'Nazar Pryymak' via AdWords API and Google Ads API Forum
Hi,

There was a situation when I wanted to add another shared set to a
NON-MANAGER account, but I got an error about the limit of 20 shared sets.
In fact, there were more than 20 shared sets.
So before creating new shared set I want to get number of exisitng shared
sets.

For example, I have 2 accounts:
 - Manager account have 15 shared sets
 - Non-manager acount have 7 shared

When I will call API
https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/fields/v7/shared_set for
getting shared set for non-manager account then I will receive 22 shared
sets.
So I don't know which shared sets related to manager acount and which to
NON-manager account. This is my issue.

In UI I for all shared sets managed by MANAGER account I can see label
'owned by managers'.

I want to find an API solution. Is it possible to find out only these
shared sets that are owned by the account (not MANAGER)? Maybe there is a
possibility to get a DIRECT manager from the account?

Thanks,

Br,
Nazar

*Questions:*

   1. Is it possible to know that this campaign was set to read-only via Google
   Ads API ?
In this case, we will not try to pause it via Google Ads Script

   2. What it is mean that this campaign was set to read-only?
   3. This *Video* campaign not possible to pause via Google Ads API

   via Google Ads Script
    .
How we can pause it via API?

I will send additional information about the account and campaign id
privately.

Not possible to get ads with type "Third party ad" via Google Ads API

2019-11-28 Thread nazar pryymak
Hello,

In AdGroup we have ads with type "Responsive display ad" and "Third party ad"
:
Then I am trying to get all ads for this addGroup via Ads API :

ga_service = self.client.get_service("GoogleAdsService", version="v2")

query = (
"SELECT ad_group_ad.ad.name, ad_group_ad.ad.type, ad_group_ad.ad.id "
"FROM ad_group_ad "
'WHERE ad_group_ad.ad_group = ""'
)

response = ga_service.search(account_id, query=query)

After that I am receiving only ads with type "Responsive display ad" , but
ads with type "Third party ad" are missing.
Is it known issue ?
Do you know when mention issue will be fixed ?

Thanks

Nazar

2019-10-28 Thread nazar pryymak
Hi Nikisha,

Thanks a lot for detailed answer.

I am using your library and getting GoogleAdsClient with data stored in the
file according this example

:

google.ads.google_ads.client.GoogleAdsClient.load_from_storage(
"root_to_yaml_file")

and I was successfully running it previously.
Few days ago we started to run few instances of our aplication after that
mention error occurred (but not sure if it is related to this issue).

Today I have tried to generate new refresh token for *TEST* account
according to these instructions

and with new refresh token I received another error:
google-ads-python/examples/basic_operations/get_campaigns.py
Request made: ClientCustomerId: , Host: googleads.
googleapis.com:443, Method:
/google.ads.googleads.v2.services.GoogleAdsService/Search, RequestId: None,
IsFault: True, FaultMessage: Request had insufficient authentication scopes.

With old refresh token I have error :
google.auth.exceptions.RefreshError: ('invalid_grant: Token has been
expired or revoked.', '{\n "error": "invalid_grant",\n
"error_description": "Token has been expired or revoked."\n}')

Questions:

   1. It looks like that we were running few applications in parallel and
all of them where automatically updating token via your lib. Is it possible
that due to that refresh token was revoked?
   2. Do you know reason why *new refresh* token failing with error
insufficient
   authentication scopes during getting campaings?

Thanks,
Br,
Nazar

2019-10-19 Thread nazar pryymak
Hi,
I want to get all account including child accounts:

query = """
SELECT
 customer.id, customer_client.id, customer_client.descriptive_name
FROM
 customer_client
"""

I am able to get all accounts only from real account.
Is it not possible to get it from Google Ads test account .
Is it know issue in Google Ads APi ?
