Hi Arslan,

Thank you for reaching out.

Please note that the AdWords API is deprecated and will sunset on April 27,
2022. We strongly recommend that you migrate to the Google Ads API as soon as
possible. You would need to migrate to the Google Ads API by April 27, 2022, to
ensure service availability since the AdWords API will no longer be available
April 27, 2022 onwards. On that date, all requests to the AdWords API will
fail. Let me know if you have any question.

Thanks,

BigQuery Data Transfer Service -impact due to the AdWords API sunset 27 April, 2022

2021-08-26 Thread Thomas Bianconi
Dear Google Ads Data Source Specialist,

You provide a *BigQuery Data Transfer Service[1]* for *Google Ads[2]* named
*Google
Ads transfer[3].*
This current service is based on the *AdWords API[4]*.
You announced the *AdWords API sunset the 27 April, 2022[5]*.

a/ Does it mean the *Google Ads transfer[3]* will stop after this date ?

The *AdWords API[4]* is replaced by the *Google Ads API[6]*.
A new *BigQuery Data Transfer Service[1]* using a new data source named
"Google Ads-Alpha" will leverage the *Google Ads API[6]*.
The data model between the the B*igQuery Data Transfer Service[1]* using
the data source "Google Ads" (AdWords API) and the "Google Ads-Alpha"
(Google Ads API) will not be the same.

b/ How can we have access to this new "Google Ads-Alpha" data source to try

AdWords API Sunset Date

I have seen the latest versions of the Google Ads API does not mention as

becomes production-ready the Google AdWords API will have 1 year before
sunset.

Do we have a date regarding the sunset of the Google AdWords API?

2019-10-17 Thread 'Pavel Savchenko' via AdWords API and Google Ads API Forum
Hi,

Is it safe to assume that this sunset will be around March 2020? There was
no update in the blog about the sunset date yet.

I just want to make sure I'm not too late.

Regards,
Pavel

201909 API Sunset exact dates

2019-06-03 Thread Gurpreet AML
Hi,

Going through the deprecation schedule of Google AdWords API, while it is
clear that 201809 version will sunset in 2020, would it be possible to give
the exact date and month of the release ? Having exact month of release
will allow us to plan things in a better way on our end.

Thanks
Gurpreet Singh

Please communicate api sunset dates

2012-10-30 Thread dan
Hi, I'm not happy with how the v201109 sunset was communicated. My
production integration to adwords is not upgraded and is not working. at
all. Furthermore, because of the hurricane, I'm not able to update my
system. This is not okay.

These are the specific issues
1) There are too many trivial communications, which obscure important
things. I am inundated with emails from the api blog about AdMob or DFA
updates, neither of which I use. While it is true there are 2 emails from
the api blog mentioning the sunset (sent on June 29th and Oct 19th), both
mentions are placed underneath less important things. For the first mail,
the mention was a footnote and I had already stopped reading. The second
mail did not appear relevant to my business and I never opened it.

Please:
Send a separate message for each critical update, using the subject line
to indicate the contents of the message. things that cause outages and
monetary loss for your customers are a different class of importance than
sdk updates.
If my account has been making requests on a deprecated api within a
month of the sunset, feel free to email blast my account (using the same
distro that disapproved ad notifications go to) and/or notify my account
rep.

2) I realize the sunset is posted on the api homepage. however, i only
visit that page when I'm forced to do an upgrade, so it's a catch-22.

3) There was a hurricane yesterday and my office does not have power. I'm
unable to update my api version until my office gets power and I am able to
travel to it. Could the sunset be pushed back a few weeks while new york
city gets its situation under control? I'm sure others in the area are also
affected by this.

4) This is a tangent, but I'm using the most basic and trivial parts of the
api (campaign service to turn campaigns on and off). Couldn't the backend
attempt to reroute these requests to the new version, so that your
customers are only bothered when there is a major conceptual change to the
api?

Re: Is v13 api sunset or continue ?

2012-03-06 Thread Anash P. Oommen
Hi Erkan,

All versions of the AdWords API prior to v201109 have been sunset. Your
ability to successfully make calls using prior versions will end
imminently. If you have not yet migrated to v201109, we encourage you to do
so immediately to ensure ongoing application functionality.

Cheers,
Anash P. Oommen,
AdWords API Advisor.

2012-03-01 Thread Christopher Ryan
Will Google announce that the API sunset actually happen?

Can we get a confirmation so that the QA team can monitor the logs for any
issues related to the new API.

Thanks,

Any comments from Google guys? Simply yes or no?

I believe there are still loads of requests made via old APIs, and many
businesses depend on this.

Yes, please delay. I am dependent on v13 and v200909 and I just found out I
cannot use OAuth w/ v201109 and the .Net client libraries in a console app.
I cannot finish by tomorrow.
