Yes, the AdWords API is deprecated and will be sunset on April 27, 2022 . As 
for the next version, we are still not aware of the exact date when it will be 
available. Currently, we only have this documentation regarding release 
schedules. That said, you may also continue to follow our blog for more updates 
or announcements regarding the next version's availability.

Thanks for keeping us posted on this.

One question about the deprecation of the old Google Adwords API. It is 
scheduled for April 27. Will the v10.1 be available before this date?
That is blocking our migration to the new Google Ads API right now.

Hi,

I'm also migrating the metrics TopImpressionPercentage and 
AbsoluteTopImpressionPercentage from an AWQL query using the 
table ACCOUNT_PERFORMANCE_REPORT.
It fails because the new fields are not allowed with "customer".
Is it something that is going to be migrated as well before the Adwords API 
is removed?

I am afraid that our team doesn't have a definite timeline on when segmenting 
of the said metrics at geo level will be supported in the Google Ads API. With 
this, I would suggest to keep an eye on our blog as we will post there relevant 
updates when become supported.

As for your question if there is another alternative to pull similar report in 
an automated way, I would suggest to reach out to the product team via this 
link to know if there is another way except in Google Ads API.

Hi,

As we know the Adwords API will be deprecated from April 2022 and so we 
were moving to the new Ads API. We are currently pulling 
*TopImpressionPercentage*, *AbsoluteTopImpressionPercentage* metrics at geo 
level segments from Adwords API and would like to pull the same through the 
newer Ads API. Could you please let us know the ETA for getting this 
metrics at geo level ? Also, is there any other alternative where we can 
pull similar report in an automated way.

AbsoluteTopImpressionPercentage metrics at segments.geo_target_region, 
segments.geo_target_metro, segments.geo_target_county, 
segments.geo_target_most_specific_location level, I'm afraid that this is still 
not supported in the Google Ads API. We have already raised a feature request 
for this; however, there is no guarantee if this will be supported in the API

Ads API Metrics unavailable at Geo level- TopImpressionPercentage, AbsoluteTopImpressionPercentage

Hi,

We are migrating from Google Adwords API to Google Ads API and few metrics 
like TopImpressionPercentage, AbsoluteTopImpressionPercentage which were 
available in Google Adwords API at country,region,metro level are currently 
unavailable in Google Ads API. 
API URL - 
https://googleads.googleapis.com/v8/customers/[customer_id]/googleAds:searchStream
 

I tried to get the specified metrics from 'ad_group' report but got an 
error : segments.geo_target_region'(could not support requested resources: 
'AD_GROUP'), since segment is incompatible with the resource in the FROM 
clause or other selected segmenting resources.

Also tried to get the metrics from Geographic_View and User_Location_View 
reports but got below error as the metrics are not supported in this 
reports-
'top_impression_percentage'(could not support requested resources: 
'GEOGRAPHIC_VIEW')

Is there a way to get TopImpressionPercentage, 
AbsoluteTopImpressionPercentage metrics at segments.geo_target_region, 
segments.geo_target_metro, segments.geo_target_county, 
segments.geo_target_most_specific_location level from any report kindly let 
me know, Thanks.
