For features like bid, location and network it is possible for us to set 
the value on that for our user (potentially using Google defaults) and hide 
it from our user interface?

Jonathan,

In the RMF , 
C.20 refers to geo targeting, and C.50 refers to network settings for 
Creation functionality.  In the case that we are thinking of the same thing 
- it seems like location, network, and bids are all required.

Ray, 

Thanks for the info on my first question. 

Per the second question, by defaulted functionality I'm referring the 
criteria we don't need to modify from what Google Adwords determines as 
default. 

Whereas we do want to have a UI that allows us to Create/Edit an Ad, Define 
Daily Budget and all the other items I mention above, things like location, 
network and bid (maybe there are others too), we want to keep the default 
setting. From a technical perspective any functionality that doesn't apply 
to the list I created above, we are not interested in putting in time to 
build. That includes location, network, bid, or "anything not associated" 
with the core list above. 

Does that help to be more specific? Thanks again in advance.

Dev estimate time to build "Minimum required functionality"

Hello, 

We are building a product that intends to have users create Google Ads in 
our application with the intention of using those ads to support our core 
product. In case it matters, we intend to make revenue through our core 
product offering, not off the Google ad. 

Based on our goals I believe we need functionality for only the following 
services: 
- Create/Edit Ad
- Define daily budget
- Click potential reach 
- Impression potential reach
- Keyword popularity
- Define/edit start/end dates
- Pay Google for any placed ad

All other aspects to the Google Ad service (e.g. Bidding, Location, etc) we 
intend to use the default and/or automatic Google settings. I do not have a 
developer background so when reading the Minimum Required Functionality I 
am unsure about how long it will take to build the above functionality.
