Re: Duplicate Labels

2017-11-14 Thread Dorian Kind
Hi there,

we've also been experiencing this issue lately, the first time on November
7th. Interestingly it only affects certain label names. As an example for
today, in one account we were able to create the label "M: 07.11.2017", but
not "M: 06.11.2017". Both of these labels did never exist in the account
before.

Best regards,
Dorian

Re: Duplicate Labels

2017-11-08 Thread Ondřej Bartas
Any news on this issue?

We are encountering same problem. We have some labels in one account, but
we are unable to create one label. We haven't tried to create label by UI,
but by API it is impossible currently.

Re: Duplicate Labels

2017-11-08 Thread Eric Maas
We are also seeing something similar to this. We are trying to add a label
that does not exist (either with ACTIVE or REMOVED status via the API or
when viewing the AdWords UI) and get LabelError.DUPLICATE_NAME via the
API. The UI also returns "You're already using this label name" when
trying to add it there.

We are unable to add the label, and our application relies on the existence
of the label.

Thanks,
Eric

Re: Duplicate Labels

2017-11-07 Thread 'Peter Oliquino' via AdWords API Forum
Hi Jon,

Please correct my understanding if it is wrong. Based on your statement, "*I
tried renaming the removed label through the API, which was successful*",
could you confirm if you were indeed able to rename a REMOVED label via the
AdWords API? This being said and in order to better investigate the issue,
could you provide the generated SOAP request and response when you renamed
the original label and the one generated when you encountered
the LabelError.DUPLICATE_NAME error? You may reply to me using the *Reply
privately to author* option.

Thanks and regards,
Peter

Duplicate Labels

2017-11-07 Thread Jon Skeen
Hello,

I am experiencing a problem with both the API and web interface regarding
the creation of labels. I had a label which was removed through the web
interface. There does not appear to be a way to reactivate this label
through the web interface and the status field is read only in the API, so
I have no way to recreate or restore this label. I tried renaming the
removed label through the API, which was successful. Unfortunately, the API
is still throwing a LabelError.DUPLICATE_NAME exception. Similarly, if I
try to recreate the label through the web interface, I get a notices
declaring "You're already using this label name."

Is this label lost forever or is something unexpected happening?

Thanks in advance.
