Updating dynamic ad targets

2022-08-09 Thread EO
Hello,
I have a campaign and an ad group already configured. It is only used for
dynamic search ads. Every day, through 'Ad dynamic ad target' → 'Create a
new rule to target specific webpages' → 'Use exact URLs', I upload a list
of URLs after I remove the ones which were previously there. I want to
automate this through the API, everything is already set, I just need to
remove the ads previously created and generate dynamic search ads for the
ad group by using only a list of links.
Any information would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Hi Gennaro,
yes I found a solution, I implemented it using googleads-php-lib for PHP

Adding dynamic ad targets using API calls (Google ads API)

2020-12-04 Thread Olivier van Houdt
Hi!

I am trying to automate the process of setting up campaigns, ad groups,
ads and keywords.
I have almost succeeded, but 1 part is missing.
When I log into the account, I get a message stating the following:
"1 ad group missing dynamic ad targets"

So I went looking for a way to add dynamic ad targets using API calls.
I cannot find a proper example of how to do this.
As far as I know, dynamic ad targets are ad group criterion of
type WEBPAGE ?
But I cant find what fields I should fill etc.

Can any one help me out with an example?

Thank you for reading!

Greetings,

Olivier

I'm so lost on this one.
Even your code sample is difficult for me.

Are there any steps you could provide? Code isn't necessary but what
specifically to call in the API would help.

Re: Get Google Ads Dynamic Ad Targets via Ads API?

2020-06-10 Thread Cory Harkins
To pivot off this question.
Is there a way to add and remove these targets through the API?

2020-06-10 Thread Cory Harkins
I believe, using your advice, I've started with this query:

 string query = $@"SELECT
ad_group.id, ad_group_criterion.ad_group,
ad_group_criterion.criterion_id,
ad_group_criterion.negative,
ad_group_criterion.keyword.text,
ad_group_criterion.keyword.match_type,
ad_group_criterion.webpage.criterion_name
FROM ad_group_criterion WHERE ad_group.id = {adGroupId}";

Hi Cory,

Thanks for reaching out. With regards to your concern, you can use the
AdGroupCriterionService.GetAdGroupCriterion to fetch your WebPage criteria that
were created purposely for triggering your Dynamic Ads Target. Please refer to
this code example but replacing it with the AdGroupCriterionService and adding
AdGroupCriterionField.Parameter to my selector.

Thanks,

Get Google Ads Dynamic Ad Targets via Ads API?

2020-06-09 Thread Cory Harkins
Hello,

I'm attempting to get the Dynamic Ad Targets for a specific adGroup via an
API query but I cannot seem to find the exact query to get me there.
I have the adGroup ID but nothing in the API is clicking for me to get that
Ad Group's targets.

RE: Dynamic Ad Targets - Webpage URL

2020-02-19 Thread Google Ads API Forum Advisor Prod
Hi,

Thank you for reaching out. In order to get this value, you have to retrieve
the WebpageParameter from the AdGroupCriterionService. Please see here for how
to add that field to your selector.

I accomplished this in my own test account by following this example but
replacing it with the AdGroupCriterionService and adding
AdGroupCriterionField.Parameter to my selector.

Mitchell

Dynamic Ad Targets - Webpage URL

2020-02-18 Thread vaios_panourg...@hotmail.com
Hi,

i am using the AdGroupCriterionService (*API version v201809*) trying to
fetch Dynamic Ad Targets.

I can successfully retrieve the Webpage criterion objects i am interested
in (*e.g. their Ids*), but i am not able to get their Urls.

Checking the example here
<https://github.com/googleads/googleads-php-lib/blob/master/examples/AdWords/v201809/BasicOperations/UpdateKeyword.php>,

i tried to get the Url like this :

$adGroupCriterion->getFinalUrls()->getUrls()[0]

but i get an error : "*Call to a member function getUrls() on null*".

The BiddableAdGroupCriterion Object i get looks like this:

[userStatus:protected] =>
[systemServingStatus:protected] =>
[approvalStatus:protected] =>
[disapprovalReasons:protected] =>
[firstPageCpc:protected] =>
[topOfPageCpc:protected] =>
[firstPositionCpc:protected] =>
[qualityInfo:protected] =>
[biddingStrategyConfiguration:protected] =>
[bidModifier:protected] =>
[finalUrls:protected] =>
[finalMobileUrls:protected] =>
[finalAppUrls:protected] =>
[trackingUrlTemplate:protected] =>
[finalUrlSuffix:protected] =>
[urlCustomParameters:protected] =>
[adGroupId:protected] => XXX
[criterionUse:protected] => BIDDABLE
[criterion:protected] => Google\AdsApi\AdWords\v201809\cm\Webpage Object

[criteriaCoverage:protected] =>
[criteriaSamples:protected] =>
[id:protected] => X
[type:protected] => WEBPAGE
[CriterionType:protected] => Webpage
[parameterMap:Google\AdsApi\AdWords\v201809\cm\Criterion:private
] => Array
(
[Criterion.Type] => CriterionType
)

)

[labels:protected] =>
[forwardCompatibilityMap:protected] =>
[baseCampaignId:protected] =>
[baseAdGroupId:protected] =>
[AdGroupCriterionType:protected] => BiddableAdGroupCriterion
[parameterMap:Google\AdsApi\AdWords\v201809\cm\AdGroupCriterion:private]
=> Array
(
[AdGroupCriterion.Type] => AdGroupCriterionType
)

Is this the way to get the Webpage Urls i am looking for?

Thanks in advance
