Re: campaign start date timezone issue in MCC account

2021-04-14 Thread Google Ads API Forum Advisor Prod
Hello,

If you are making a request targeting a child account, but authenticating from
a managing account, you must specify the managing account customer ID as the
login-customer-ID, and specify the target child customer ID in the payload. You
can then retrieve campaign information from the child account. For example, you
can query the campaign resource for campaign.start_date and campaign.end_date.
However, these attributes only give the date, not the time.

RE: campaign start date timezone issue in MCC account

Hi Krishnadas,

Your API requests should return date/timezone related to the account specified
in your API request header. If you wish to extract the exact date/timezone of a
specific account, you would need to perform API requests using that account
instead.

An alternative would be to implement locally a timezone converter, once you
have taken note of the date/timezone of each of the sub/client accounts under
your MCC. I hope this helps.
