Hi,

Are you getting error when translating your AWQL queries into the new GAQL or
in your Radwords library? If having with AWQL, you may provide us the AWQL
query via the Reply privately to author option, so our team can check better.

Hi,

Our team understands the challenges of migrating to the new Google Ads API.

However, and as mentioned in my earlier response, you should be able to use the
Query Migration Tool, for translating your AWQL queries into the new GAQL, so
as to help simplify your migration effort for the queries.

For Python, you can refer to these reporting examples. Should you require
further assistance developing using Python, you may reach out to the client

with any code level concerns.

Re: Keyword Search Query googleAnalyticsR or RAdwords

2018-02-18 Thread Mark Edmondson
AdWords search queries are available in the Google Analytics API under
ga:keyword
https://developers.google.com/analytics/devguides/reporting/core/dimsmets#view=detail=traffic_sources=ga_keyword

You also may want to use the adMatchedQuery
https://developers.google.com/analytics/devguides/reporting/core/dimsmets#view=detail=adwords=ga_admatchedquery

For only AdWords keywords, you will want to limit the keywords (so they
don't include SEO and other paid search like Bing, by filtering for
source==google and medium==cpc

The query in googleAnalyticsR will look something like:

google_analytics(viewId, date_range = c("2017-01-01", "today"), dimensions =
c("keyword"), metrics = "adClicks", dim_filters = filter_clause_ga4(list(
dim_filter("source","EXACT","google"), dim_filter("medium","EXACT","cpc")),
operator = "AND"))

Keyword Search Query googleAnalyticsR or RAdwords

2017-07-18 Thread Peter Trachsel

Hello

I am trying to read the AdWords Search Queries with R either with the
RAdwords or googleAnalyticsR package. When i do lookup available metrics
at https://developers.google.com/analytics/devguides/reporting/core/dimsmets
i cannot find search queries as a metric. (What i can read are the keywords
which come from the organic search (traffic sources).)

Is there any possibility to read the search queries from AdWords or is this
metric not available?

If this topic has already been processed/closed please paste the link. I
have not found an exact answer to this question.

Thank you very much and kind regards

Peter

I noticed in your stacktrace that you are creating a *DfpClient*. For

 I'm trying to connect to adwords api, and my authentication is failing

 For Python:

   # Initialize client object.
   dfp_client = dfp.DfpClient.LoadFromStorage()
   main(dfp_client)

 For R with RAdwords, a browser opens after I enter in my client_id,
 client_secret, and developer token and says Error 400 (OAuth2Error)!!1 and
 that I should email MYSELF for help

 library(RAdwords)
 google_auth - doAuth()
