We have this concern as well. The Ideal solution for us would be to
make it read-only/invisible from the UI and still editable from the
API.

Hi,

So is the worry that reports created for API use will be accidentally
edited by users in the AdWords web interface?  In general I think
there is a benefit to having the reports shared between UI and API,
but this is something I'll mention to the core engineering team.
