User Lists duplicate entries

2015-08-20 Thread Michael Buetow
Hello,

We recently started requesting UserLists using the AdWordsUserListService
in v201502, and have been experiencing an issue for one of our clients
(though all others have been successful). The scenario appears to be the
following.

1. We request UserLists from the AdWordsUserListService with various fields
included in the selector a Paging startIndex of 0 and numberResults of
1.
2. The response yields 282 entries with totalNumEntries of 283.
3. We make another request with startIndex of 282.
4. The response yields 1 entry that is identical to one in the initial
response.

I can provide SOAP request and response snippets if necessary as well as
the Customer Id of the affected client.

Any assistance on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Michael

Could you provide the SOAP XML request and response logs? Just click *Reply

the developer token in the output.

Thanks,

Re: User Lists duplicate entries

2015-09-01 Thread Josh Radcliff (AdWords API Team)
Hi Michael,

Is the one list that's missing the G+ followers list (ID 8798718), by any
chance? You cannot create *Google+ Followers* lists in the API, so my
theory is that *totalNumEntries *is *including* your G+ list, but the
response contents *exclude* that list because it's an unsupported list type.

If that's not the case, could you send me the 282 user list IDs you get
back? You can send that only to me by clicking *Reply privately to author*,
same as before.

Thanks,
Josh, AdWords API Team

Hey Josh,

I checked your theory and did NOT see a UserList with the ID 8798718 in the

repro the problem when I filtered on list type.

Thanks for the quick response, please let me know if you need any other

Re: User Lists duplicate entries

2015-10-15 Thread HK
Hi, Josh

This is becoming urgent for us. We have a critical new customer facing
feature being released October 21st that is dependent on this being fixed.
Would you be able to help make that happen please? We are now two months
into this bug and we really need it addressed. I apologize for being so
vocal, but we manage hundreds of AdWords accounts, the feature is required
by RMF and we simply can't have a part of AdWords being down for this long.

For the record, I just tested it for one of our customers a minute ago, and
it's still sending up duplicate entries.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi Hans,

I'm following up with the user list team today to try and get some answers
for you. As a work around, could you simply ignore the duplicates in this
particular case? From what the team has found so far, this issue is limited
to the AdwordsUserListService
,

so I'm thinking you could add focused special handling for this case to
avoid jeopardizing your release date.

Thanks,
