Re: (Historical) average targets for bid strategies

2023-04-14 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi Pascal,

Thank you for your response.

With regard to your concern for retrieving more than 30 days ago, can you
confirm if you already tried the change status? It mentioned that it provides a
means to keep track of which resources have changed within an account over a
given time period. It also indicated that, the query must filter on date within
the past 90 days (and optionally time), and must include a LIMIT clause set to
at most 10,000 results. You may utilize the query builder tool for the
change_status resource to quickly build valid report queries in the API.

As mentioned previously, if you are unable to retrieve what you are looking
for, please provide a screenshot of the data you would like to retrieve via API
as well as the complete request and response logs with request ID so we can
further investigate. You may send it to us via Reply privately to author option.

Hi there,

Thanks for getting back to me. The change_event report does offer some of
the required insights, however it only allows date to be retrieved up to 30
days ago. I'd like to go back further in time, preferably a few months/a
year.

(Historical) average targets for bid strategies

2023-04-11 Thread Pascal van Dooren
Hello,

I was wondering if it is possible to retrieve historical bid strategy
targets through the API. I've tried the bidding_strategy report with the
date segment applied, but this will just return the current target for all
dates. This data is available in the UI, at least for portfolio bid
strategies. Thanks in advance.

Kind regards,

Pascal

Hi Alex,

Thank you for proving more details about your concern. Unfortunately, however,
there is currently no service or feature in the AdWords API that you can use to
retrieve/predict which bidding strategies are or would be suitable for your
campaigns. You can refer to our bidding guide instead, to learn more about
which bidding strategies you can use and which you are eligible to use on your
campaigns.

Additionally, you may refer to our bid landscapes guide to learn more on how to
get estimates on your campaigns, ad groups, and criteria performances based on
different bidding scenarios. I hope this helps.

Re: bid strategies

2019-07-29 Thread Alex Junior
Hello Peter, how are you?
'xpto' would be a generic strategy, I'm sorry for the confusion.

I would like to retrieve the strategies available for each type of campaign.

For example, I have two campaigns:
The examplo1 campaign is a search network type, you can use metrica1 and
metrica2 metrics.
The examplo2 campaign, which is a shopping campaign, can only use metrica2
metrics.

In this scenario, I would like to consult api the strategies available for
the campaign
example1 and she would only return me the metrica1 and metrica2 options.
And when I check the examplo2 campaign metrics, it returns me just the
metrica2 option.

Note: metrica1 and metrica2, are generic examples.

Thank you for your help.

Hi Alex,

You can generate the Campaign Performance Report as this should return the
(AdWords API supported) campaigns under your client account and you can include
the BiddingStrategyType field in your request to determine what your campaigns'
bidding strategies are.

Another alternative is to use the CampaignService.get() and include the
BiddingStrategyType field in your SELECTOR. You can refer to this sample code
(also available in other langauges) as to how. I hope this helps.

There is currently no guarantee that the SystemStatus field can be

Additionally, since this is already an old thread, I would recommend that

Re: Fetching system status of share bid strategies in v201708

2017-09-28 Thread 'Peter Oliquino' via AdWords API Forum
Hi Alex,

I'm afraid the SystemStatus

 field
of the 201609 version is no longer supported in the 201708 version of the
AdWords API. It has been removed since the release of the 201702

 version
and there had been no announcements regarding a replacement or alternative
field.

Thanks and regards,
Peter

Hi all,

I have been using API version v201609 for shared bid strategy bidding for
the past year.

I realised system status was removed in the latest version of the API.

My question is: Is it possible to get system status of shared bid
strategies via API using v201708?

Thanks for your help in advance.

Cheers,

Alex

Re: Getting Flexible Bid Strategies from a keyword performance report

Hello Brett,

Keyword-level bidding strategies are currently not supported in the API.

So I am a bit confused right now. Can you clarify what you mean by
 Bidding type?

Plus the CpcBidSource just says ad groups for the second on in the photo
and it is a different bidding strategy than the ad group. Also looking at
the reports there is no way to tie any of the keywords to the actual bid
strategy name, which is what we need to do.

For C.95, C.101, C.111 and C.116, do these points require to implement
