Regarding outages, our team is not aware of any that may have caused issues 
related to authentication. For this, I would recommend that you reach out to 
the Google API Console support team, via this link, for further information on 
what may have caused your credentials to fail.

Also, if you haven't yet, you can refer to this documentation for information 
on what may cause your fresh tokens to become invalid.

Dear William,

I am aware when this error happens and this wasn't that case. Tokens which 
were working just fine suddenly stopped working (without any change on our 
side!) and new ones couldn't be generated for few hours. After those few 
hours everything went back to normal. 
There is no cache involved from our side.

We're trying to find out why this happened. Was there any outage/issue on 
your side?

invalid_grant temporary error

Hello,

Yesterday, 27th August, for several hours seems that there was some issue 
on Google side as all already existing refresh tokens stopped working for 
seemingly no reason and reauthorization for several hours didn't make any 
change. Suddenly everything started working again. 
Are you aware of any issue on your side regarding this issue?

There were two error messages returned from Google:

{  "error": {  "code": 401,  "message": "Request had invalid authentication 
credentials. Expected OAuth 2 access token, login cookie or other valid 
authentication credential. See 
https://developers.google.com/identity/sign-in/web/devconsole-project.";, 
 "status": "UNAUTHENTICATED" }

{  "error": "invalid_grant",  "error_description": "Bad Request" }
