Re: [AFMUG] google earth printing and grouping

2019-11-28 Thread Jeremy
I do it fairly manually using batchgeo.com. You can list all customers on
a subnet (we use Powercode), then export that or copy paste into an excel
spreadsheet. Then, I remove all of the crap and setup the correct columns
that batchgeo expects. I end up with a .kml per AP that can be opened in
GE, which is extremely useful (even if the process is a bit convoluted).

Load x7 for panel size minimum if you are not worried about snow and overcast.

300 watts of solar panel would be in the $150-$200 neighborhood
unless you want to buy some premium Sunpower panels. Another $100
for a cheap controller, and another $100 for a cheap battery.
Throw in another $150 for something to bolt everything to. Your
  labor is free, right?
If it doesn't last through periods of no solar long enough, add
batteries until you get the run time you need.

What would cheapest solar way to power PMP450 Sm, Mikrotik
WiFi router and something like Wyze cam? It would not need
to be super reliable in event of cloudy days etc.

The cheapest way would be to just buy a couple hundred watts of solar
panels, a cheap chinese charge controller and a couple of marine deep cycle
batteries. It'll cost $400-500 for the parts.

[AFMUG] Rackinjector Power

2019-11-28 Thread Craig Schmaderer
Forrest or anyone else that may know, does the control board still have to use
+ voltage to power on. I can not remember if you were going to allow neg
voltage on newer models.
