With Calix you can go way beyond 20 km if you split less.  So the timing for 
them is not as tight as the GPON spec.

I've talked to someone who made a GPON extender out of back to back SFPs so its 
probably not entirely nuts. The timing range is pretty narrow so you'll have to 
consider any delay in the radio link will be significant. Many platforms the 
nearest to furthest ONU must be within 20km even if they are all much further 
out they can't differ by >20km.

generator really doesn't like corn?

Would premium fuel help or just skip straight to 0% ethanol?

I wouldn't get too hung up on the presence of lack of presence of
  ethanol. Sure ethanol will make the fuel more susceptible to water
  in the fuel, but I think you may have something more simple wrong
  with the generator like a clogged jet or something. It's able to
  run OK with no/low load, but as soon as you add a load, it needs
  to be choked. That is a sign of insufficient fuel for the power
  demand. 

Our gas generator has a fuel cut-off switch, and we use that to
  shut off the fuel to the carburetor. That way, we run the carb
  "dry", which reduces the chances of gumming up the jet(s).

Chuck, yes most platforms can go further, our ZTE OLT supports out to 80km.
I guess what I meant was if the microwave equipment adds any processing
delay it would need to be within that range which I calculate as 66
microseconds. It would be especially troublesome if the added delay varied
at all.

[AFMUG] OT sunday project

So, my super duper modular rectifier modular inverter office UPS was not 
working.  It would run for a little while and then have an inverter failure.
Swapping cards, narrowing it down to the control card... but I kept noticing 
low voltage.

So, out of an abundance of caution I actually measured the batts.  43 volts.  
Hmmm.  Rectifier light is on.  Oh yeah... there are some circuit breakers 
behind a panel that you open on the front.

Turns out, that you need to actually turn the charger ON to make the system

What is "true fuel"?  Do you use it like stabilizer or is it a cleaner?

That's what my dad taught me to do years ago but both of my techs are
saying you don't want to do that.  I forget why, but it was suggested to me

This one irritates me. I dont think impeding traffic is acceptable at all,
but they put the hammer to this guy with a ton of charges for a slow roll
on a horse for kids lives matter.

But they dont charge these nimrods that block traffic over a criminal
getting a comeuppance.

Nobody should get a free pass, but horse guy didnt threaten anybody,
didnt spit on on harass anybody, destroyed zero property and never stopped
traffic (though slowed it) and picked up lik 5 charges. They even charged
the guy he was handing his horse off to.

Mayor fishface even disparaged the guy

He should have lit a building on fire and looted something, then maybe the
kids well being would matter

Don't get racist. If it was a black guy alone riding the horse just like
this guy, there would have been the same or worse charges.

When it comes to violent rioting, looting, and arson you do know they're
arresting and sending people to prison, right? You did also know that
there's just as many or more white people perpetrating those crimes than
black people, right? Don't for one second think it's only black people.
It's criminals who are stealing and doing damage. It had ZERO to do with
their color. Only that they're willing to break the law.

This one irritates me. I dont think impeding traffic is acceptable at all, but 
they put the hammer to this guy with a ton of charges for a slow roll on a

But they dont charge these nimrods that block traffic over a criminal getting a 
comeuppance. 

Nobody should get a free pass, but horse guy didnt threaten anybody, didnt spit 
on on harass anybody, destroyed zero property and never stopped traffic (though 
slowed it) and picked up lik 5 charges. They even charged the guy he was 
handing his horse off to. 

Mayor fishface even disparaged the guy

He should have lit a building on fire and looted something, then maybe the kids 
well being would matter
