Re: [AFMUG] twr-surge card shield
That's what I used to do. It seemed to work well until we would need to address the units down the road. The ands fractured and broke apart. Too much pressure. I think you could probably flatten the cladding and remove all but 5mm of it and slip it into the connector, but even if possible would be time consuming On Wed, May 26, 2021 at 11:10 AM Steve Jones wrote: > We got into it because of a dickhead squirrel. Re: [AFMUG] twr-surge card shield
We got into it because of a dickhead squirrel. It's a bear, but we have had zero issues in like 10 years. We recently moved back to regular outdoor since everything is coming with the tape now. [AFMUG] Ignitenet MTU size for VLAN's
I’m trying (unsuccessfully) to pass VLAN-tagged traffic across a Metrolinq 60GHz link. It will pass non-VLAN traffic fine. Has anyone had this issue? The standard MTU is 1540, has anyone had to raise that (and to what) to make VLAN traffic work? They say they support up to 7912, but I’m not sure what might break experimenting here. My link is running live traffic. -- AF mailing list AF@af.afmug.com http://af.afmug.com/mailman/listinfo/af_af.afmug.com
Re: [AFMUG] twr-surge card shield
I bought some bbdge to be in the cool kids club but only used it once, what a pain in the ass. We use Epcom shielded cable now, it's amazing stuff. Re: [AFMUG] twr-surge card shield
No it won't fit, you would need to solder a #22-24 wire to the cladding and then the connector will take the drain wire you soldered on the side esd crimp lug On Tue, May 25, 2021, 10:51 PM Steve Jones wrote: > we use a lot of bbdge, of you have an ezrj45 design that takes that > without breaking the housing over time, youre a god. its the copper clad > cable, not foil and drain > > > On Wed, May 26, 2021 at 12:44 AM TJ Trout wrote: > >> do you use ezrj45? Re: [AFMUG] OT: New home office
wow I love the idea of everything up high. I wish mine was that way maybe the next office One of my kids favorite spots is on the Dog beds unfortunately I have fluffy shedding dogs and after too many times getting fluff all over the cloths that had to stop. Unfortunately I have not had the same luck keeping the dogs off the kids furniture.
