My wireless ones work pretty well but need to be power cycled pretty often. I have some that work over Cat6 that work great. You should try a more narrow channel, and switch to 2.4 GHz. 5 GHz has no penetrating power; especially with a wide channel. bp On 4/9/2020 4:52 PM, Jaime Solorza wrote: Uses 40 MHz channel at 5805 MHz...I can track with my WiFi Analyser on my Motorola phone. Re: [AFMUG] OT...new toy
Not great so far...I got a picture and it froze... transmitter is inside house in my bedroommy Batcave is other end of house...mine is a real solidly built home...no sheet rock in it...brick, cinder block and meshed gypsum inside. Walls are thick very well insulated...even the cable guys had hard time drilling through it with standard 12 " bit. I will reposition the transmitter near the window and see if it improves any. A newer sheet rock home would probably be okay. More to come.. Re: [AFMUG] OT new toy
I gave the Bad Elf surveyor an honest try but it just can’t do the job. I need to click, label and move. Then I want the whole file of points transferred in one file. Import to google earth. And be accurate to 1 meter or less. Just did not find middle ground so I finally just got the big boy tool. This is for building permit permits for fiber in public ROWs.
