No idea...I had Retinal surgery on right eye after kickboxing match...it
was not a tear...just weak retina... procedure was differentI was in
hospital, knocked out and recovery was a weekended my fighting days ...
This procedure was two fold..laser on Saturday and Gas bubble thing with
laser on Monday...mild anethesia on Saturday, heavier on Monday...face was
numb for a day...

  on Saturday was painful on a three of 22 blasts
  Monday the anethesia made it painless but
  uncomfortable...I could feel instruments inside eye

I can’t see myself going through that, I don’t think I could even get Lasik.

Takes several weeks to heal.  Taking 4 different eye drops a day...laser 
treatment on Saturday was painful on a three of 22 blasts Monday the 
anethesia made it painless but uncomfortable...I could feel instruments inside 
eye ..next day was very painful after anethesia finally wore off .. right now 
it just uncomfortable..

No...bed rest for 15 more days ...next five days facedown...pain is
almost gone... swelling is down a lot.   Vision still blurry...
Sucks not working.. can't hike...oh well
