Re: [AFMUG] Edgeswitch question
It had some kind of STUN warning when it first got discovered. I can’t find my way back to that warning. Hopefully STUN will traverse this switch. Still cannot browse into the local IP it got via DHCP. Hate to have to use Unify everytime I want to work on it. What happens if the uplink is down? It say on the quick start guide that it has a default of 192.168.1.2 but nothing comes up on that address (yes, I did give my PC an address in that range) and arp –a does not show the mac of the switch itself. -- AF mailing list AF@af.afmug.com http://af.afmug.com/mailman/listinfo/af_af.afmug.com -- AF mailing list AF@af.afmug.com http://af.afmug.com/mailman/listinfo/af_af.afmug.com -- AF mailing list AF@af.afmug.com http://af.afmug.com/mailman/listinfo/af_af.afmug.com

That is probably the DHCP fallback IP, it may have pulled an address from your DHCP server. On Sat, Oct 5, 2019 at 5:17 PM wrote: > Replaced my flaky Nortel with a UBNT poe.
