The Q50 had the self driving features before Tesla. It works better, too.

The S class is pretty good, but you have to touch the steering wheel
occasionallyor tape a Coke to it.

The absolute number is a bit misleading. Some of the electronic components
come 7500/reel and I have many many reels.
So full reels are easy to count and the machine keeps track of partial reels.

Also nuts bolts and washers are purchased 10,000 at a time.

I have about 300 part numbers.

I think Nissan is practically giving away Leafs (or are they Leaves?) in
CA. CA has a mandate that some percentage of a fleet needs to be zero or
near zero emissions (I may be blowing smoke on this, so forgive me if I
don't know the details). Anyway, a friend with a relatively short
cross-town commute of ~~ 5 miles just got rid of his 14-year-old RAV4,
and is now driving a Leaf that he's leasing for $89/month. His goto for
it is that it is costing less than his cell phone bill, not to mention
that he never has to stop for a gas station or an oil change. Tough to
beat that.

Leaf was perfect for that.
I have a car coming off of lease in 3 months so I need to decide what to get

I may try a bolt. It does not have autopilot, but I do think it has lane

I predict people will come home in their self-driving cars, then for fun
drive a virtual car on their game console. And buy all sorts of accessories
like VR goggles and a G-force seat to make the car-driving experience more
realistic. Maybe a sun lamp and wind machine to simulate driving a
convertible with the top down.

I used to take the train to night school. Got a lot of reading and homework
done on the train. But Americans don't like using public transportation.
1-person self-driving cars are OK. Not sure where Musk's hyperloop falls on
this continuum. Does he envision 1-person canisters? I thought it was more
like a train car. If they just stuffed one person in each canister, it
would be like the tubes at bank drive-throughs.

I want to be able to get up and go to the can or get off the train to go to the

I also want to be able to walk away from an accident or malfunction if I am

The way that thing goes, you'll never be in it for more than 45 minutes.
