I like the Roku. I guess I can go get the appletv out of my TV room and move
it to where I do most of my watching.
I hope they spin the Roku version soon.

So I just accepted the offer to beta test the DirecTV Now DVR feature and
updated guide.
It doesn't work on Roku but does work on the Apple TV they gave me when I
signed up.
I don't have time to play with it today but I'll probably schedule some shows
to record
tomorrow to play with it.

I did test the pause feature and it worked as expected. Pretty excited about it
since in
my area it includes ABC, CBS and NBC local channels. I've been using DirecTV Now
exclusively for about 4 months now and am pretty happy with it.

Very happy to have cut the cord.

We get our TV through (1) DVR+, and (2) Roku.

We control everything with a Harmony remote (it does it all).

Monthly cost is $0, although we do have a Netflix account.

[AFMUG] Mass changes to specific config on 450 network

2017-12-25 Thread Andreas Wiatowski
Hi Everyone,

We have turned up the on premise version of cnMaestro and it turns up like a
charm. Kudos to the Cambium team! We use PROXMOX, a free virtualization
product. All we had to do is untar the OVA pull out the vmdk and convert to
qcow2.

So, we have been a CNUT shop. CNUT works well through web proxy and we have
never seen a need to put a mgmnt IP on the SM. Now that we want to use the on
premise, we are taking our entire network up to 15.1.2.1 and we are enabling
remote management on the WAN for NAT SM and turning on ICMP. For bridged we
are enabling public access and DHCP so it grabs an address for management. ALL
is working well BUT we need to log into each and every SM and make these
changes.

My question is, is there an easier way? We have a custom r/w string in each
SM, but no IP access, just WEB PROXY.

Any help is appreciated, we have 100's of AP and 1000's of SM in the field.

If you have SNMP write enabled on the SMs, then use the AP's SNMP proxy.
IIRC, it's something like .LUID.interest>. Should be in the AP MIB.

Ha, yea. Notified the AG office consumer affairs to start. Want to see what
happens there.

I agree that the batteries should have gotten better. We lost a cell with the
24Kwh battery at 25,000 miles after 2 years. Didn’t expect the 30Kwh battery
to fail at 8800 miles and 8 months. In my opinion, that’s defective or Lemon.
Just need Nissan to let me walk away so I can get a Bolt or maybe a Tesla.
Won’t buy another Nissan after this unless they really make this right quickly
and show me something different than what they have so far.

So got our new Leaf with the 2017 30Kw battery and lost a cell by 8800 miles.
Talked to Nissan and they basically told me to pound sand. Have to wait for 4
cells to die before they do anything. Glad we bought the car for the extended
mileage over the 24Kw battery and then “it’s gone”.
