store.ubnt.com normally has a decent selection of the newer stuff, but as
far as I know they still make 2.4 bullets.

2017-06-27 Thread Mathew Howard
As a general rule, I think UBNT pretty much keeps building stuff as long as
people keep buying it regardless of how obsolete it is or how many years
it's been gone from their website.

This particular question has come up a few times over the past few years...
they had buried the airrouters under legacy products or something like that
a few years ago. If distributors still have them in stock, it's not likely
they've been discontinued.

We are still getting regular AirRouters, I cant see the HP would exit the
market before a DC model

Seriously doubt it.

Johns Hopkins University/Applied Physics Laboratory (JHU/APL) is
coordinating an evaluation of the Persistent Systems MPU-5 handheld radio
to support New York City Police Department (NYPD) tactical operations. One
of the RF frequencies selected for use during the evaluation, 2377 MHz, is
contained within a band requiring prior coordination with AFTRCC *(Aerospace
Flight Radio)*
