Its not hard and ive done some direct connections to the PCB but it 
becomes an issue when your out of town and a tech has to replace it with 
a new one.

Then they have to use the poe injector splice a stupid 3.5mm jack and 
hopefully wire it correctly to the fuse bank

UGH!
We need a standard for these thats all.

You have to watch those temperatures on the smaller switches. Also, 
voltage could be an issue with the CCR units.

I found the CCRs get flakey when anything above 27v  hits it.
I still use them  extensively in our system though. If I can get them 
settled around 24v I dont have any issues.
