[AFMUG] Mailing list issue.

2015-11-17 Thread Forrest Christian (List Account)
I'll join the club with mailing list issues.

In my case, I had a dns event which made my domain appear not valid for a
few hours Tuesday morning. I resolved that issue, and mail has been
flowing since then, but nothing from the afmug list.

Is there a possibility that amazon saw a bounce and refuses to send to my
email anymore?

As I'm not getting list emails, I might not see any replies to this.

Amazon has what they call a “Suppression List”. If they see x number of
bounces in a 24hr period, Amazon will put your email address in suppression and
you will stop receiving emails from the list. A DNS issue with your domain is
a common cause of this happening.

I have sent Amazon a request to remove both of your email addresses from the
Suppression List. It is usually very quick, so you should get this email.

If anyone else has this issue, just let me know the email address that is
having the issue, and I can submit a removal request for it.
