Not entirely true Chuck, but close. There are other operators using BRS, such as American Wireless in southern Utah, SpeedConnect, Commspeed, WatchTV and others. Oh, if it's Sprint, it's B41. Your phone or app is misreporting it. Signal Check Pro and CellMapper are what I use. In Belvidere, IL a couple weekends ago I did a speed test on Verizon.. my jaw dropped a little bit when I hit 87 down by 23 up. If I had a rogue app chewing data I would cry at those speeds.
