[ai-geostats] Export grid from GRIDSTAT to ECLIPSE

2005-12-27 Thread Tri_Yuliyanto
Hello,

I am a beginner in geostatistics and currently building a 3D oil reservoir
model using GRIDSTAT.
Has anyone ever used GRIDSTAT who could help me ?
I am trying to export my grid to ECLIPSE. But, I have a problem. My sand
distribution is
Northwest to South East direction. But, when I exported it to ECLIPSE and
displayed it in FLOVIZ of ECLIPSE,
the sand distribution is in NorthEast to SouthWest direction. Why do I
have this problem?

I notice that there is an option in GRIDSTAT:
Grid Output>Export>GRIDSTAT Grid>User Defined > Origin Vertex ( Top
NorthWest etc )
Increment Order (XYZ etc )
Do I need to specify this "Origin vertex and Increment Order" in order to
have the correct
orientation of sand distribution before exporting to ECLIPSE?
Thank you for your helps. I really appreciate it.

Best regards,

Tri Yuliyanto

Dear list members     If available to everyone, would you let me know where I can get the "pH data of Broom's Barn farm", as used in GSLIB (Deutsch and Journel) and in Geostatistics for Environmental Scientists by Webster and Oliver?     Regards Ercan
