I am having a hard time understanding how to use futures specifically when it comes to implementing functions within those futures.
So for example, if I wanted to implement factorial in a future using this algorithm: int factorial(int n) { if (n == 0) return 1; else return (n * factorial(n-1)); } My current guess is: Future<Integer> f = future(new function <Integer, Integer>() { public Integer apply(Integer i) { if (i == 0) { return 1; } else { return (i * apply(n-1)); } } }, system.dispatcher()); results = f.onSuccess(new PrintResult<Integer>(), system.dispatcher()); -- >>>>>>>>>> Read the docs: http://akka.io/docs/ >>>>>>>>>> Check the FAQ: >>>>>>>>>> http://doc.akka.io/docs/akka/current/additional/faq.html >>>>>>>>>> Search the archives: https://groups.google.com/group/akka-user --- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Akka User List" group.
