[algogeeks] Re: Find the maximum boxes which can fit each other?
What is wrong with atul's solution of longest decreasing subsequece on length after sorting on area? I think the relationship is transitive as well. e.g. box a fits inside b. box b fits inside c by transitivity, box a fits inside c. Isn't this fine? [algogeeks] Doubt on Regular Expression
Hi All, I was looking for an regular expression such that given a string X,it should exclude a token in single quote preceded by a particular string. e.g in java say. String X= 'abc ' like'abc ' ='abc' N.replaceall(reg expression ??) would transform it to : ?? like 'abc ' =?? ( remove extra space as well but not spaces in single quote) Please let me know if you have any doubt. Re: [algogeeks] Re: m*n matrix, sorted rows, sorted columns, WAP to find an element efficiently
we can also apply binary search on rows and columns separately by which we will decide that in which 1/4th part we need to search. So in this case complexity will be O(log m + log n). just check and let me know... Re: [algogeeks] validate bit pattern : MS question
This can be done simply by checking and unchecking flag , below code will work :- void checkPattern(int n) { int cnt=0,flag=1; if(n1) { while(n) { if(n1 flag==1) { cnt++; flag=0; } else if(!(n1) flag==0) { cnt++; flag=1; } if(cnt 3) { break; } n=n1; } } if(cnt==3) printf(\npattern found\n); else printf(\nPattern not found\n); } On Wed, Apr 4, 2012 at 5:30 AM, Ashish Goel ashg...@gmail.com wrote: verify that the bits of a number are in format 1s followed by 0s followed by 1s like 1110001 is valid but 100100100 is not Best Regards Ashish Goel Think positive and find fuel in failure +919985813081 +919966006652 -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups Algorithm Geeks group.
