Re: [ccp4bb] Is this Spam? This looks like Spam.

I also received this kind of message. Is it definitely spam? I waited for 24
hours and noticed that no messages appeared under CCP4BB. Then I re-registered
with CCP4BB. From that moment I received messages again.

Best,

I got unsubscribed from ccp4em yesterday with a similar message for
b...@ruppweb.org. That one has a minor certificate
problem that however does not affect other email recepients.

For some reason, the ssl certificate for https://ruppweb.org/ is valid, but the
mailserver still seems to have an issue. May be your IT can check yours

I'm sharing a screenshot because I'm not:
(a) going to click those links
(b) get others to click those links.

Can the board admin confirm if this is legitimate or not?

[COOT] Place Atom at Pointer

2021-10-01 Thread Becker, Stefan
Dear all,

placing water with "place atom at pointer" in coot doesn’t work for me with up
to date Coot 0.9.6, running on Ubuntu 16.04 LTS. No water appears. Is this a
known bug?

Best,
Stefan

[ccp4bb] Parsing error monomer library jLigand

2017-06-09 Thread Becker, Stefan
Hi all,

I installed the newest version of ccp4 package using the setup manager. When I
launch jLigand from within Coot I get the error message "Cannot parse the
standard monomer library". We checked if all paths and permissions are
correctly set and couldn´t find any mistake. Also repeating the installation
did not work. The system is running ubuntu 12.04 LTS.

Would anyone have a suggestion how to solve the problem?

Thanks in advance.

Stefan

[COOT] N-terminal acetylation

2017-06-07 Thread Becker, Stefan
Hi all,

in the coot mail archive I found an instruction from 2013 for N-terminal
acetylation: build ala, replace by ACE, edit restraints for ACE to group
L-peptide and apply. The last step does not work, changing to L-peptide cannot
be applied. Could someone give me advice about this? Thanks in advance.
