It seemed to be a simple issue. But after starting, I have to look at here and there of mifos codebase to solve this issue, so it is a good exercise for me. There are five fields mentioned in the issue to make those configurable mandatory. Of those five, Government ID is already done by someone, cause I found it to be configurable mandatory in the latest svn code. Among the rest four- two (Client Middle Name, Business Activities) are relatively easy to make configurable mandatory as those are already present as configurable hidden fields. So those are already in the field_configuration table. To do with Marital Status and Number of Children, I needed to add entry to the field_configuration database table. I also needed to modify a mifos custom tag - MifosNumberTextTag (which is used to render number of children) as it doesn't have check for configurable mandatory fields. Tags like MifosAlphaNumTextTag already has this check. So far, my patch has two limitations. I haven't standardized my database changes, just including the necessary insertion sql with this mail. Second, I should have write/modify some tests in HiddenMandatoryConfigurationActionStrutsTest to test the new mandatory fields. Hi, Well I'm basically trying to just open the system console (http://localhost:8080/system/console), but its showing error messages (I checked that the server is running) like resource not found. So I went back to the console and found this error message, so I though this may be the reason. So I couldn't remove or stop any bundle as I am not getting the console. Hi, Don't know about this list, but as far as I know in yahoo groups an automated mail can be sent after a member joined to the group. In our university group we use that mail to let the new member know about group regulations. We also use the 'group email footer' option to provide a link to our regulations which is included in every email sent to the group as footer. We can use these options instead of weekly or monthly regulations email (which would no doubt bit annoying). Hi, On the virtual box menu, select 'Shared Folders...' under 'Devices'. Click on the '+' button on the left of the 'Shared Folders...' dialog box to add new shared folder. Click browse to choose the mapping of shared folder (you can choose any path of your Host OS). Then give it a name and you are done (Don't forget to check 'make permanent' option if you want to persist this shared folder in future virtual box sessions '). Now you have added a shared folder, you need to access it from the Guest OS. I am assuming you are using Windows XP as Guest OS. Go to 'My Computer'. Click 'Map Network Drive' under Tools menu. Choose a drive name and click browse for the Folder option. You will see the network drives of your computer and you could also see a folder named 'VirtualBox Shared Folders'. Expand it and choose the Shared Folder you just created. Then you are done by Clicking finish. If you choose the 'reconnect at logon', then you can access this shared folder under the specified drive name in My Computer each time you start Windows. I hope this helps. Thanks. Hi, I think the most of the files in the /tmp will be automatically cleared next time you boot Ubuntu. You don't need to directly delete /var/cache/apt/archives. There are few useful commands which are safe. I listed those below with description from the corresponding man page - apt-get clean: clean clears out the local repository of retrieved package files. It removes everything but the lock file from /var/cache/apt/archives/ and /var/cache/apt/archives/partial/. When APT is used as a dselect(8) method, clean is run automatically. Those who do not use dselect will likely want to run apt-get clean from time to time to free up disk space. apt-get autoclean: Like clean, autoclean clears out the local repository of retrieved package files. The difference is that it only removes package files that can no longer be downloaded, and are largely useless. This allows a cache to be maintained over a long period without it growing out of control. The configuration option APT::Clean-Installed will prevent installed packages from being erased if it is set to off. apt-get autoremove: autoremove is used to remove packages that were automatically installed to satisfy dependencies for some package and that are no more needed. You need to be root user (or sudo user) to run these commands from the shell. Hi Check '/etc/X11/xorg.conf' file to see whether your card and monitor is properly detected by Ubuntu and also other settings. I found a package named 'envyng-core' very helpful for installing Nvidia driver in my laptop. 'envyng-core' will produce a command line program. If you want graphical interface then you also need to install either 'envyng-gtk' or 'envyng-qt' package. If you have already tried these options, then I guess the only option is to manually set your configurations in the xorg.conf file, which is a bit painful task. Hi, I have a mobile set Nokia 3110 and I took an edge unlimited connection from Grameenphone. Now I have two questions - 1. What is the suitable or preferable way to use the phone as EDGE modem - data cable or via bluetooth? 2. In windows connecting to EDGE via mobile is easy using Nokia PC suite software. Hi, I want to submit a proposal about CC licensed music discovery from a popular application like iRate radio in summer of code 2007 for Creative Commons. I'm actually not sure whether iRate or any other application have already such system to discover the CC licenced music over the web. After the popular CC music community sites ccMixter and Jamendo, now there are more CC licenced music over the web and discovering and playing those through an application sounds cool to me.
