Re: [all-audio] Ferrite and Hokusai
Yes, both have different functions and different purposes. Ferrite is mainly for audio journalism and podcasting. Hokusai is mainly for producing commercials, cool things for radio and other types of audio that you normally hear. I mean, Hokusai is for producing all of the cool audio with all of the nifty sounding effects that you hear in radio, television video games etc. I recommend purchasing both so that you can make the most of whatever it is you want to do in Audio. If you buy both apps, I think it’ll cost you around $40. It’s pretty inexpensive went you consider all that these two apps do. Yes both are by the same developer and both have different functions it seems. I bought the pro versions of both, cheap enough so I won't be eating for a month or so but well worth it . -Original Message- From: all-audio@groups.io On Behalf Of Merv Keck Sent: Monday, 1 July 2019 1:37 AM To: all-audio@groups.io Subject: [all-audio] Ferrite and Hokusai Hi, I see that both Ferrite and Hokusai are by the same developer. Re: [all-audio] Little Sub-Woofers
Howard, There are a couple of ways that companies are getting more out of small subwoofers. Probably the biggest thing is that they can partly make up for the lack of efficiency of smaller cones and cabinets by electronically equalizing the signal and by including higher power internal power amplification. Also, sometimes speaker cones are used that can move further than they used to. This means they can be driven harder. Some of the smaller subwoofers really do an amazing job. I have heard a couple, though, that do well at deep base but sometimes tend to "double", where low bass notes have their harmonics produced more than on the larger subwoofers. Therefore, one needs to listen carefully to be sure you are getting what you want. I've seen Altec Lansing and Logitek three-ways that really boom out that sub-woofing sound. I never took one apart so I don't have any idea what's in there that does that? Hi, I see that both Ferrite and Hokusai are by the same developer. I'm looking at them for my iPad Pro 2018. Do they serve different functions? Have a different set of features? Re: [all-audio] Ferrite Recording Studio
The one I’ve been using several monts and loving it, is Grabadora de voz HD - audio de Linfei Ltd. https://apps.apple.com/mx/app/grabadora-de-voz-hd-audio/id492995106 however I kind of not like very much that yu need to get the markers depending on the length of the file editing, in order to start selecting chunks An app like GoldWave on the computer, where when listening to a file, be able to place the markers and edit rom these, would b great on iOs! For starters, voice recorder is awesome! I like it tons better than audioMemos! Re: [all-audio] portable google assistant speaker?
HI, Oh sorry didn't see the demand for portability. If you need real power you can look at Soundboks It is quite expensive though, but can definitely run a party. -Oprindelig meddelelse- Fra: all-audio@groups.io På vegne af goshawk on horseback Sendt: 30. juni 2019 02:57 Til: all-audio@groups.io Emne: Re: [all-audio] portable google assistant speaker?
