In the dialog-box from X-Axis settings, i could enter the intervall value with hour format. But when i close and open again this dialog box. The entryfield show '0.0' as value. Not a decimal or a hour value (00:01:00 for a hour). The graph is drawn correctly. It isn't serious bug. Cosmetic, i think. Enter '00:01:00' as value and quit the entryfield (by a tabulation). Open the above file in OOo - there is no curve drawn -- the autoscaled range goes from 1 to 10 instead of 1e-something to 1.0 - further, there are strange tic labels on x-axis The log scale is drawn OK for y-values larger than 1.0. It is still ok for StarOffice because it installs Sun fonts. But the font list is not valid for OO.o. For example, ';SunDotum;Batang;Myeongjo;;SunGulim...' was specified for CJK_SPREADSHEET. From this information, OO.o calc display 'Batang' as default font, which is incorrect. To fix this, ';Dotum' should be added. And it is better to remove 'Batang;Myeongjo;;SunGulim'. Ian, (Is it right to assign this to you?) I wonder if we have time to fix this before 2.0 release. [framework-issues] [Issue 35880] OOo requires write permissions on Samba shared directories
To comment on the following update, log in, then open the issue: http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=35880 --- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mon May 16 05:25:17 -0700 2005 --- Tested with 1.9.74 as of two minutes ago. The issue is MUCH better now. The file can be opened, though there are some usability issues (in my opinion). Specifically, they are as follows: 1) There is no indication that the file is in a read-only mode (though it definitely is) 2) I'm able to modify the document with no warning that I'm modifying a read only document. 3) When trying to save the modified document, I am given a general input/output error, as opposed to something which would tell me that I do not have permissions to modify the file. These are, by comparison, minor issues, and worked around through training, though OOo would be better with them resolved, definitely. I will download the latest developer build, and test it, later today. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. We are going through this warnings because there is a higher chance that the code is really broken. The following problems were found in the module sc: /usr/src/packages/BUILD/ooo-build-1.9.100/build/src680-m100/sc/source/core/data/column2.cxx: In member function void ScColumn::LoadNotes(SvStream): /usr/src/packages/BUILD/ooo-build-1.9.100/build/src680-m100/sc/source/core/data/column2.cxx:458: warning: nPos is used uninitialized in this function /usr/src/packages/BUILD/ooo-build-1.9.100/build/src680-m100/sc/source/core/data/column2.cxx:451: warning: nNoteCount is used uninitialized in this function /usr/src/packages/BUILD/ooo-build-1.9.100/build/src680-m100/sc/source/core/data/column2.cxx: In member function void ScColumn::LoadData(SvStream): /usr/src/packages/BUILD/ooo-build-1.9.100/build/src680-m100/sc/source/core/data/column2.cxx:178: warning: nNewCount is used uninitialized in this function /usr/src/packages/BUILD/ooo-build-1.9.100/build/src680-m100/sc/source/core/data/column2.cxx:194: warning: nNewRow is used uninitialized in this function It seems that the code is really broken. For example, the variable nNewRow is initialized this way: #if SC_ROWLIMIT_STREAM_ACCESS #error address types changed! rStream nNewRow; #endif It means that it is never initialized, but it is used on many locations then. The problem is very similar for the other variables as well. Another problem is found here: /usr/src/packages/BUILD/ooo-build-1.9.100/build/src680-m100/sc/source/ui/optdlg/tpview.cxx: In member function long int ScTpContentOptions::CBHdl(CheckBox*): /usr/src/packages/BUILD/ooo-build-1.9.100/build/src680-m100/sc/source/ui/optdlg/tpview.cxx:357: warning: eOption is used uninitialized in this function Well, it looks that this is not real problem. The variable eOption is probably set everytime to a suitable value in the if-cases above. However, I think that it could be initialized to a save value anyway. I am sorry, I am not sure how to fix the above mentioned problems. I am afraid that especially the code in sc/source/core/data/column2.cxx could cause real problems. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. If so, kindly point me in the right direction. If it is not possible, consider this a feature request. I have a document where I want to insert frames containing images in the document's margins and anchor them to paragraphs or characters. I don't really care about the vertical position of the frame, but near the anchor point is better than far. However, I do want the frame to be on the same page as the anchor point. I also do not want frames to overlap. For example, if the anchor points of two frames are close to each other and near the bottom of the page, writer should put the bottom-most frame down at the bottom of the page and then push the other frame up high enough to avoid overlapping the lower frame. I don't want to manually fine tune the positioning as I want the document to adapt if I change page sizes or add/remove text. I was hoping the fly frames in 1.9 would allow me to do this, but I haven't been able to figure out how. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. Of course, at lot has changed since 1.1.4, regarding the way our slideshow is rendered (the slideshow subsystem is, more or less, a complete rewrite). Still, a user-mode program must not be able to crash a display driver - as a matter of fact, we'll have to involve ATI here, either to fix their drivers, or to tell us what _exactly_ to avoid. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
