As I write this, the 2.0 final main is released since about a day, but not swedish. The download page now serves the Swedish RC3 which is the best file choice it can do, however the text get a bit misleading as http://download.openoffice.org/ 2.0.0/sv.html header say OpenOffice.org 2.0 Download Sites - Swedish, but is linking to RC3 files. Also the release notes link are for RC3. I have not myself found what has changed from RC3. But the user can get to the latest swedish build now :) But to be fair it should inform that it serves RC3 as final is not translated yet! (all people do not know what RC3 in the end of the long file namne means) But this will be all OK in a workday or two when the final is translated. I do hope this will be better next time OOo comes in new version maybe then http://sv.openoffice.org is finally online. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. I believe it scares people (it at least made me a bit anxious) to see a progress bar taking about 30 seconds of removing something without actually stating what. Maybe it has been stated in an earlier step in the install progress, but for next, next, next installers it should be clearly stated. Steps to reproduce: 1. Install an old version of OOo 2. Download the OOo 2.0 final install 3. Start Install 4. Choose 'Custom install' (think it should display for all types') continue 5. Have all items selected (don't think this does really matter) continue 6. Now at some time it starts 'Removing files...' and this is the exact thing I am referring too. Solution: First of all it should be possible to select whether one would, or would not want to delete the old version (especially in the custom install). Second, most important, the description of 'Removing files...' should be changed to 'Removing older version of OpenOffice.org...' - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. I understood from other issues that the XSLTs are cached, but it seems too permanently. OOo 1.1.5 seems to reload the filters properly during export, OOo 2.0 doesn't. It's annoying to have to restart OOo every time you edit a filter; it makes filter testing a pain. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. Can't seem to log in to my account but oh well, must be the heavy traffic or something. Actually I can't remember my password and when I enter my email addy it says its sending something but its been a couple of hours and I still ain't got the email yet. Anyway, I do have the old version of the installer so that might have been the problem. I wont be able to check anymore cause my linux box bit the big one about 2 months ago in a rain storm / power outage. Lost the main board on the system and just haven't gotten around to getting a new one. Thanks for asking though. Cool, 2.0 is out. If OpenOffice does NOT crash at this point, it will crash if you immediately close the document without exiting Writer and then try to re-open the document. I have filed that particular crash circumstance under issue 56461, as they appear to be related. I changed all occurrences of FreeSerif (from Debian ttf-freefonts package, Free UCS Online Fonts project at http://www.nongnu.org/freefont/) for SIL's Gentium, and now my documents are OK, if uglier.
