The XML representation changes for example from: draw:image xlink:href=../kuvat/rantakuva-sml.jpg xlink:type=simple xlink:show=embed xlink:actuate=onLoad draw:filter-name=lt;Kaikki muodotgt;/ in original document to: draw:image xlink:href=/../texts/test/oo/kuvat/rantakuva-sml.jpg xlink:type=simple xlink:show=embed xlink:actuate=onLoad/ in recovered document. I'm not sure if the default path affects this somehow. My default path is usually /home/magi/texts/ ($HOME/texts), so maybe the .. is an attempt to change to a path relative to that. I get many paths such as file:///../texts/image.png. However, this seems to work with default path set to /home/magi ($HOME), so maybe the default path is not the problem. My platform is Ubuntu/Edgy, OOo 2.2rc3-fi. The option in question is and - in OOo - has always been dead. This alone would already be reason enough to remove it from the UI. It confuses users because it suggests a functionality that does not exist and - in OOo - never existed. 2. Even if issue 13376 was implemented, the corresponding setting should not be done application-wide: the language - and hence the spelling - is a property of the paragraph or character style. Thus, even if issue 13376 was implemented, the option for the old spelling would need to be a part of the list of languages in the styles dialog, whereas the option in Tools ... (in question here) would need to be removed completely. I remind those interested in politics that removing this option does not have any implicit or explicit meaning on support for spell-checking whatsoever. The option in question here does not work, because currently only one spelling per language is supported. The requirements for supporting more spellings per language, and hence also for support for the pre-1996 German orthography, are discussed in issue 13376. You want to create a keyboard shortcut to that macro, and you want to have that assignment scoped ONLY for the document itself, in other words, you want the keyboard assignment to be saved with the document and applied only to that document. (Other bug reports list complications and contradictions on setting a keyboard shortcut, but this is not a duplicate of those reports) You go to tools-customize-keyboard, and in the category listbox, you expand OpenOffice.org Macros, and then select the document where you saved the macro, in order to assign the key. PROBLEM: On that dialog box, it seems you can ONLY have that keyboard shortcut invoke that macro for all spreadsheets or for openoffice as a whole (as per the radio buttons on the top right side of the dialog).
