Seems to happen in all OO applications. this is not the first time that someone has raised this issue I think; see: http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=63907 http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=64648 http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=18380 http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=69538 http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=73995 However, I have found a workaround and possibly therefore the cause. If the MSoffice application 'cftmon.exe' process is stopped, text can be copied at full speed. This is an optional application and seems not to be normally loaded by MSoffice suite (but it can be selected at install time). I had to add the additional requirement that at least one directory separator is present because otherwise some internal targets and more importantly imported environment variables would also get ./ prepended. (A can of worms ...) Contrary to what I said on IRC, I don't like this anymore, and the simple patch from issue 77202 that only disables the stripping of leading ./ sounds like the best way around this problem. (Maybe enabled by an command line switch for an OOo special mode) The correct version would still be the use of normpath before comparing and substituting but that's a lot of work ... - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. (We might think about this) But I'm jumping ahead, the build fails in shell/source/win32/shlxthandler/res because it cannot find winres.h (logfile at the end). True, the -I/cygdrive/c/PROGRA~1/MI2578~1/Windows/v6.0/include/mfc directory doesn't exist (that's $PSDK_HOME/include/mfc) anymore in the Windows SDK. Even worse, there is no winres.h at all (except in the Samples/ directory) in the Windows SDK. (And also not in the VS Express edition.) You probably didn't see this problem because the Sun environment seems to have an additional PlatformSDK directory in your environment. The following snippet from wntmsci11.mk cannot work here because that directory doesn't exist. (That snippet wouldn't be used because OOo sets these variables already in winenv.set and the *= assignment is not used, but anyways.) .IF "$(PROF_EDITION)" == "" ATL_INCLUDE*=$(COMPATH)$/PlatformSDK$/include$/atl ATL_LIB*=$(COMPATH)$/atlmfc$/lib MFC_INCLUDE*=$(COMPATH)$/PlatformSDK$/include$/mfc MFC_LIB*=$(COMPATH)$/atlmfc$/lib .ELSE Currently it looks like the Windows SDK either needs the full VS or an old Platform SDK. -- errorlog -- guw.exe ../../../../wntmsci11.pro/bin/lngconvex.exe -ulf ../../../../wntmsci11.pro/misc/shlxthdl/shlxthdl.ulf -rc ../../../../wntmsci11.pro/res/shlxthdl.rc -rct rctmpl.txt -rch rcheader.txt -rcf rcfooter.txt -- Making: ../../../../wntmsci11.pro/res/shlxthdl.res guw.exe rc -I. -I../../../../wntmsci11.pro/inc/shlxthdl -I/cygdrive/c/PROGRA~1/MI2578~1/Windows/v6.0/include/mfc -I../inc -I../../../../inc/pch -I../../../../inc/shell -I../../../../inc -I../../../../WIN/inc -I../../../../wntmsci11.pro/inc -I. -I/cygdrive/d/w1/tin_obo12/solver/680/wntmsci11.pro/inc/stl -I/cygdrive/d/w1/tin_obo12/solver/680/wntmsci11.pro/inc/external -I/cygdrive/d/w1/tin_obo12/solver/680/wntmsci11.pro/inc -I/cygdrive/d/w1/tin_obo12/solenv/wntmsci11/inc -I/cygdrive/d/w1/tin_obo12/solenv/inc -I/cygdrive/d/w1/tin_obo12/res -I/cygdrive/d/w1/tin_obo12/solver/680/wntmsci11.pro/inc/stl -I/cygdrive/c/J2SDK1~1.2_1/include/win32 -I/cygdrive/c/J2SDK1~1.2_1/include -I/cygdrive/c/PROGRA~1/MI2578~1/Windows/v6.0/include -I/cygdrive/c/PROGRA~1/MI2578~1/Windows/v6.0/VC/include -I/cygdrive/c/PROGRA~1/MICROS~4/include -I/cygdrive/c/PROGRA~1/MICROS~4/include -I/cygdrive/d/w1/tin_obo12/solver/680/wntmsci11.pro/inc/offuh -I. -I../../../../res -I. -I/cygdrive/d/w1/tin_obo12/solver/680/wntmsci11.pro/res -I/cygdrive/c/PROGRA~1/MI2578~1/Windows/v6.0/include/atl -I/cygdrive/c/PROGRA~1/MI2578~1/Windows/v6.0/include/mfc -r -DWIN32 -fo../../../../wntmsci11.pro/res/shlxthdl.res ../../../../wntmsci11.pro/res/shlxthdl.rc Microsoft (R) Windows (R) Resource Compiler Version 6.0.5724.0 Copyright (C) Microsoft Corporation. [sw-issues] [Issue 77875] Outline Font Size Auto-Ref ormatting
To comment on the following update, log in, then open the issue: http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=77875 Issue #|77875 Summary|Outline Font Size Auto-Reformatting Component|Word processor Version|OOo 2.1 Platform|PC URL| OS/Version|Windows XP Status|UNCONFIRMED Status whiteboard| Keywords| Resolution| Issue type|DEFECT Priority|P3 Subcomponent|formatting Assigned to|mru Reported by|jason_adams --- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mon May 28 18:28:00 + 2007 --- Whenever I create an outline and change the font size per layer within the font (I.E. I. Introduction would be size 20, A. Point 1 would be size 18, and so on...) Everything works fine and sizes accordingly during the designing process; the problem occurs when I save and close the document: Upon re-opening the document, everything is as it was except the font size of the outline itself (the I., A., i., etc... will all set to font size 12), and furthermore it seems more difficult afterward to set them back to the size I had them it. Considering my outlines can at times be nine or more pages long, it's very inconvenient to have to go back through the entire outline and fix the font sizes everytime I open it again to print it. Otherwise, I'm very pleased with Open Office Writer and find the outline functionality to be very efficient and well formed. I am using the built in DB (HSQL) Step-by-step description: Create a new database Create a table with three fields that are of integer (primary key), float type, float type respectively Input the data 1;0,98;0.98 2;0,11;0.11 into the two first rows where ";" means go to next column Close data input window Make sure the table is marked a press Ctrl-C Open an empty calc document and press Ctrl-V My calc file now looks like Field1;Field2;Field3 1;0(as number);0.98(as String) 2;0(as number);00-11-01(as Date) So, according to me there is a misbehaviour in two ways 1) 0.98 get interpreted as a String even though the datatype was a number in the base file and that the decimal separator is set to "." 2) 0.11 shouldnt really be turned into a date - should it? The numbers are like 30.1 becomes 30-01-01. It seem to be the single decimal numbers that turn into date, not the double decimal numbers like 30.54. It is not possible to change the Format of the cells. The number does not come back to the original. Summary Numbers like 30.1 turns to date format 30-01-01. Without the tabs the figures open correctly. I cannot use this as I do not get the columns required. The seem clearly to be a bug in the program. When i tried it did nothing and just left the chart blank. So i went on the IRC channel on Freenode. and they told me to install the last 2.3 binary package (OOo_SRC680_m213_LinuxX86_install_fr_rpm.tar.gz) which i did. And it DOES work ! my chart is ok with its 50 002 values. So i registered my file (using ctrl+S) And i opened it with OOo 2.2, i try editting the chart and it crashed. Actual XML section in ODP file(selected "word wrap" option in shape setting dialog) But in ODF spec: 15.16.6Word Wrap The fo:wrap-option attribute specifies if text is word wrapped in a shape. no-wrap wrap This inconsistent with ODF standard will make OOo 2.0 have a bad interoperability with other ODF-support editors. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. Furthermore you don't write "Betreff:" anymore in the subject. You just write the subject without this initiatory word. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. However, if I am using AutoFormat to create a table, this won't help, since the table doesn't exist yet. In that case, wouldn't I have to use Application::GetSettings().GetRTLLayout()? - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
