Contrary to the previous two comments, I _did_ encounter the same problem with
116520-15 recently, just as with previous ones (my last successful update was
PU8) on my Windows XP Home SP2. Thus I think closing this issue was premature.
However, I did not get any visible error or crash; after unpacking (progress
shown by popup) and some following disk activity, simply nothing more happened.
Hardware: Sony Vaio PCG FX 501 (well, rather old) with CPU AMD Duron 1 GHz,
graphics ATI Rage Mobility-M1. SO7 itself ("network" installation) works without
any problem.

This is really hard for an non-programmer. She won't know that per default the ratio is NOT locked so she will never hold shift when resizing it to avoid stretching it when resizing. After several minutes of frustration and menu exploring she might try to turn on "Keep aspect ratio "(if she knows what this user un-friendly phrase means) but resizing the picture STILL "destroys" it - 'keep apect ratio' seems to be ignored. I suggest that you consider locking apect ratio per default and put a "Allow stretching" in the right-click menu of pictures. Also you could make sure the keep aspect ratio setting isn't ignored when the user resizes. I guess this is a bug/defect that it's simply ignored. While looking for a cause for this odd behavior, I noticed the JavaVM File in /System/Library/Frameworks/JavaVM.framework/Version/A to which the link in /System/Library/Frameworks/JavaVM.framework points, has been created or changed on the day & time I installed and started the BETA package the first time. (This made me remember activity of my external harddisk which holds an old OSX installation while starting one of the Assistants, which then failed). Crosschecking with my other machine revealed the same file has been stamped with the time the java was last updated in that machine. To check if this is the cause ... I tried to reinstall the Java stuff .. which was only successful with the Java Release6 found at the download space on apple.com. (I unplugged the FireWire Harddisk for that test) There was no need to set the DYLD_LIBRARY_PATH again. (All the other old Java files still where sitting on the disk. It seems to be the Java Installation has been broken somehow .. I donot have any proof for OO 3 beta has caused this in conjunction with the old installation sitting on the external disk. The JavaVM file is just some clue. I will try to recheck the clue ... later the day.
