In particular, one of the two data series vanished from the chart. The reason here is that for an X-Y-Chart, you need to uncheck the First column as label check box in the Data Ranges dialog, to get proper results. However, this cannot be done in SRB, here it seems that the first column is always used as label: - enter the chart by double-clicking it - open the Data Ranges dialog from the context menu - uncheck the First column as label box - close the dialog with OK - re-open the dialog = the box is checked, again Effectively, this means that X-Y charts are unusable in SRB, since you do not get them to display the data properly. I do see that I had a lot to learn about the language managing in a document. I'll try to use this advices for a while and maybe come back to comment. Remain that as a 5 years user of this suite I'm asking myself if it is really the most natural/rapid way for doing some things that are implemented in OOo writer like: 1- select all doesn't select figures and tables (this can be, not problematic but a little time consuming, not only for language settings but also for copy/paste issues). 2- the copy-past doesn't by default blow-up any format when usual requirements for a document are that it has to be homogeneous. 3- I had, according to the advices received here spend more or less 2 minutes to put every single paragraph, table and figure to be in French in a 2 pages document entirely in french, before to be able to perform an orthographic check (it has proved to be a recurrent issue though I doesn't so often copy/past things from other documents I haven't written myself). I'm sorry I went a little over the limits for a very specific ask for a feature. It could probably be more widely commented and discussed on a mailing list if to be of any interest but I'm afraid a wouldn't spend a lot of time to follow it anymore. As a matter of conclusion, I'd like to reassert my gratitude to the community of OOo to have settled such a good free tool, I hoped my contribution to be of use but if it isn't the common view of the community I can perfectly understand it and it won't prevent me to share other ideas to improve our common tool.
