And yes, there might be a free combo, but sacrifying consistency (i.e. using "ctrl+shift+k" for underline instead) for that is no option. Take it to the mailinglist, with some well-grounded arguments or live with the conflict/change it locally. You should use styles instead of hard formatting anyway. Leaving this issue open won't help. The bug was triggered by painting the selection rectangle in the slide sorter. The dashes are decomposed into a set of rectangles. With active antialiasing some of these rectangles can be very small (sub pixel). This triggered a special treatment that accidentally did not restore the graphics state. Restoring the graphics state fixes the painting problems. Generally, I share your opinion that the long term web export should rather be a javascript+html approach, but that's quite a road to travel if you want to support all Impress Features in all browsers with smooth animations and pixel-perfect rendering. Since it is now in an .odp file, one should be able to compare the internal code of circles in this file with the code generated when circles are generated using Impress. Apparently the problem is with the code conversion from a .ppt file to an .odp file. I still have the .ppt file and I could try to reduce that file to one slide with the problem.
