I don't recall creating a sort order. I think the problem is the sort order 
associated  with the primary key, which keeps the name of the original table. 
The consequence is that the table can not be opened (in data edit mode)

Well, INVALID means "The problem described is not an issue". However, it is
still an issue for me with OOO310m19 on Ubuntu 9.10, kernel 2.6.31-15, though I
realize that this bug is not reproducible on most systems.
So perhaps WORKSFORME or WONTFIX would be a more accurate "resolution" than 
INVALID?

Try the code below. When you add 2 Currency values and the result is bigger than
(2^31)/1 the number you get is not expected, is like an overflow.
It does not matter if the numbers you are adding are smaller or bigger than
(2^31)/1  (like problems because the result needs more than 4 bytes)

open data sources with F4. 
It works for me.

tried again after update to kubuntu 9.10 - samba packages have now exactly the
same versions as at t_serries' environment:

$ dpkg -l|grep samba
ii  samba-common   2:3.4.0-3ubuntu5.1[...]
ii  samba-common-bin   2:3.4.0-3ubuntu5.1[...]

$ smbmount --version
mount.cifs version: 1.12-3.4.0


I still have no problem. When mounting with -o nobrl , all works as expected
(second app to open the file will open in read-only mode) 

Mounting without noblr will give an file access error, but at least the file is
locked.

(tried with samba and WinXP as file server)

In StartCenter all buttons should be highlighted when mouse is over. At the
moment this is only true for the buttons on the bottom, but not for the main
buttons for creating new documents.

This is an out-of-the-box installation, and Spell Check does not work. All 
misspelled words are ignored and there is no underline for these words. After 
some troubleshooting and installing 
http://extensions.services.openoffice.org/project/en_US-dict, I am no further 
along.

To make matters worse, F7 (or Tools > Spelling and Grammar) opens a dialog that 
says "spellcheck is complete" or "continue checking at beginning of document?" 
without a means to actually use the spell check dialog itself. (I can see the 
spell check dialog with "ignore once", "ignore all", "options", etc., but I 
have 
NO WAY TO ACCESS THIS DIALOG!!)

I need urgent help on this matter.

Nah, OOo comes with a --without-java configure option so it can be tested
without java. Though right at the moment --without-java is slightly broken
(though it should still be possible to build as far as testtools)

wrt. the debian packaging, I'm not certain how debian has packaged up things,
though I'd certainly expect that the ure package is getting used.

Either way even though I don't have a soft-float toolchain this only affects the
(until now) non-existent ppc soft-float support so we can take it on faith that
the soft-float bit is good if the hard-float stuff continues working :-) Looking
at the ifdefs I see no reason why it wouldn't. I'll take care of this along with
the other one post m66

Sorry I'm not sure this is a duplicate of issue 63015.
As you can see in the sample pdf file attached, the same string is exported
correctly in the page, in a frame but not in the text drawing object. So the
problem here is specific to the text drawing object.

Several users in this thread have clearly explained the compelling importance 
of resolving this issue to 
enable migration from the other office suite.  3.2 looks like it is heading for 
RC1 now and this issue is 
not in the list of open issues to be addressed in the release. I assume it is 
too late to be added as in 
issue for the 3.2 release, I understand the difficulties of adding issues this 
late in the release cycle.  Is 
there an accepted way to raise the priority of this issue?  By my reading of 
the priority descriptions this 
should be a P2.  Since I do not understand how the priorities are determined in 
the open source model (I 
have been the product manager for large proprietary sw projects) I do not know 
if we have "pulled all the 
levers" available to us.  My goal would be for it to be in a 3.2.x release 
rather than wait for 3.3, or ensure 
that it has high 3.3 priority.

I try to look at the patch in issue 105680. However since the counterpart is
java I would probably have to get openjdk working, right?

After =RANDBETWEEN(1;100) I got 41 in the cell so I guess it should work okay.
On the other hand, it looks to me like all the bridge stuff is packaged in the
ure debian package. No other package (not calc) does depend on that one. So it
might not be using it at all.

-msoft-float is tricky. gcc will use gprs for all operation and will add little
glue code for operation like + for instance. If you don't have a softfloat
toolchain or atleast soft float multi lib support than this glue code will
contain hard float asm code. So the result will be invalid. If your validation
routine is only something like

test_func_1(float a)
{
 if (a == 1.1)
  pass();
 else
 failed();
}

than it should pass.

Still an issue in 3.1.1 - neither size or position is stored. This is pretty
annoying if you layout your screen by placing Navigator, Styles and Formatting,
as well as context sensitive, detached toolbars next to the window; this is work
you must re-do each time you open the application. And especially on Mac saving
Windows positions is so dead simple. Assuming that the main window, as well as
all other windows, are meanwhile NSWindows in the backend, one can tell the
system to automatically store their positions and even restore them
automatically next time they are opened (it's all in the system libraries; only
the correct setting must be activated for the window).

Sorry, not reproducible with OOO320_m5. I have a 3 slides presentation. I go to
File/print/print content, select handout, 3 slides per page . Under properties
of the current printer the layout is set to portrait and everything prints well
(even with lines for writing on the right).

Unlike MS-excel 3Dcharts, OO 3Dsharts uses transparancy for some charts elements
The transparancy makes this 3Dcharts un-usable for professional printing and 
PDF/A output.
Can you make this transparancy a optional feature ?
