I want it to save my files as .doc by default. I have gone to Options Load/Save and set "Always save as" to Microsoft Word 97/2000/XP. But whenever i try to save a file it is still saving it as .odt. I have tried searching for setup-writer.xcu in C:\Program Files\OpenOffice.org 2.0\share\registry\modules\org\openoffice\Setup but it does not show this or the setup-calc.xcu or any of the other files. As soon as I opened the Base file in 3.2.1 for the first time and tried to add data to it, I started noticing problems. When trying to save a change made to an existing record via a Form drop-down menu, I got the following error message: SQL Status: 37000 Error code: -16 Wrong data type: java.lang.NumberFormatException: For input string: "A-37 Dragonfly cockpit set" I then tried to change random data both manually in a table view and via the input form and got the same error code and SQL status message. I then noticed something strange in the table view--some records were repeated and others had disappeared (each record is assigned a unique ID number, so I first noticed when I saw duplicate ID numbers and missing ones--i.e., instead of "1,2,3,4,5,6" I saw records "1,2,2,4,4,6" with identical information in the duplicate records). Thinking it was a problem with the file itself, I restored a backed-up copy of the database from a few weeks ago (one I knew for a fact was pristine) and opened it. I got the same problems. I then chose a very old back-up copy (seven months old) and tried again--I experienced the same exact problems. I have a text document t.odt with both a Basic macro (CallFoo) and a Python
macro (foo). The Basic macro calls the Python macro as such:

When I run the Basic macro from the UI, it does successfully call the Python
macro.
When I run the Basic macro from the command line by specifying an argument of
"macro://t/Standard.Module1.CallFoo", I get prompted for whether I want to
Enable or Disable macros. If I click "Enable", the Python macro gets called.
What does not work is if I specify "macro://t/Standard.Module1.CallFoo" on the
command line and also "-headless". In that case, OOo just hangs. The backtraces
of all the threads is shown below. The reason I do not specify the Python macro
on the command line is that it is not supported (bug 113481).
Is there any workaround to using Python macros in an automated pipeline?
PS: I dont see a way to attach a file to the issue. Ctrl-F in my browser also
did not find the word "attach", so it does not seem like I am just not seeing
it.

When using using the Customize Keyboard dialog, assignment of writer functions
to keys Alt+F6, Alt+Left, and Alt+Right appear to "work" but subsequent use of
those keys do not invoke the assigned function. Other facts:
1. Assignments of functions to "similar" keys Alt+{F1-F3,F5,F7-F12,Up,Down}
and Alt+Ctrl+{Up,Down} does work.
2. None of the above keys are assigned to any desktop function (desktop is
KDE-3.5.10)
3. Keys appear to work properly in other desktop applications.

However, Microsoft documents (XLS, PPT, DOC) still show the new 3.2 OO design (all blue, dull, hard-to-distinguish) icons. If I assign these Microsoft documents back to their corresponding program, the documents show the old OO logo. When I assign them to be opened by Open Office, the 3.2 icons come back. Any suggestions on how to change this? I cannot change the icon from Tools- >File Types, since my only option is "Restore", which brings the documents back to Microsoft. If so, I cannot find any option to do so. The problem is when I create a chart in Calc, and then I move that chart to Impress. Usually I want to resize the chart, fitting its size to my presentation. The chart itself resizes correctly, however the font size for labels, axes, etc. remains the same. The problem is however, that even if the extension is not registered it remains in the extension folder of the shared repository and the next time OOo starts it is registered. Because during start-up the config backend does not do "live-registering" there is no exception and the extension is successfully registered.
